My parents had decided on Nicola.
Then I ballsed things up by being born with a Y chromosome. So I spent the first two weeks of my life being called 'Junior' whilst they decided on names.
They picked Jonathan. Wish it'd have been shorter, but I like the nicknames Jon (or Jonny)...
Was originally going to be called Darren, but, they changed the decision (THANK GOD!) and decided to make it my middle name and called me Richard instead.
Richard Darren Fish sounds alot better than Darren Richard...
I'm happy with Justin, as according to Urban Dictionary, I am apparently awesome in every single way.

Mine were going to call me James but apparently, we had a James in the family and he was a dick, so they picked Jamie...which is no different to James, really.
My mum was going to call be Christian, and my dad was going to call me Vladimir. Seriously, I'm glad I turned out a James, as I'm a buddist, and I ended up being English as well. (An English person called Vladimir is by no means wrong, but to me it sounds a little odd.)
I was going to be Isabella, because Dad named my sister whilst mum was still fuzzy on the gas. Shame, I got her fuzzy on the gas too, and ended up named after a telepathic alien on a tv show my dad use to watch.
Edit: I know a guy who's apparently going to call his kid Count Grishnak. Which would be awesome.
my parents knew what the name was going to be from conception. If I was female it was going to be Lesley. The name they gave for me was Wesley as its my grandfathers middle name. I guess Lesley was only there as it is only 1 letter off.
I assume if I was a boy they would have called me "Richard" after my father....like they ended up naming my younger brother. My dad wanted me named after my mom, Lenka, but that is a very Czech name and they already knew they were heading to America (at the time they were in Austria). So the names my parents were stuck between were Christine and Christina...and I rather like the "e" even if people fuck it up all the time.
[sub]Funny this should be brought up today...since it's my birthday.[/sub]
