That's the only ability that I really, really think the game would be better without. I can't be the only one that thinks rewarding people's deaths with a cheap, no-skill kill is a stupid idea. At least with second chance and the like you had to aim and shoot someone to get the kill.
I have no problem with it being there as long as player movement and terrain mapping makes it actually possible to move away from it in time or they remove its massive kill radius. I do think that second chance needs to be removed or changed radically, especially in hardcore where the pistol is a one shot kill. Here's a proposed solution:
Rank 1: Allows you to fall on the ground and be revived by other users of second chance if they arrive within 10 seconds of death.
Rank 2A: Lets you pick 1 sidearm or melee weapon to equip on the ground, but reduces your lifespan by half.
Rank 2B: Doubles the time allowed to revive and makes you visible on the mini-map for both enemies and allies, also, you can be revived by anyone.
I also hope that the perks have upgrades that have drawbacks as well as bonuses. That way the advanced players will only have the benefit of increased choice versus drawback-free power boosts.
OT: Fix claymores, they are not explosives, they are stationary shotguns. If you don't have a spot-on connection by the time you hear the click you have already died in the game server, so it becomes an infuriating weapon for people who are already getting fucked by the 500ms ping.
