I don't particularly care for Keaton as Batman. I absolutely loved the idea of Heath as the Joker as I was a fan of his from the word go. I hated the casting of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and having seen it I still do.lacktheknack said:Michael Keaton to be Batman: Fans rage ceaselessly until film is released, are full of praise after.
Heath Ledger to be Joker: Fans snark endlessly until film is released, Joker is heralded as the best thing ever.
Anne Hathaway to be Catwoman: Fans whinge that there's no way she can pull it off until film is released, fans immediately stop whinging.
Since I'm decent at seeing patterns, I predict that Ben Affleck will do fine.
The problem is that you would have to at least work to sink your teeth into the wall of masculinity that is Bale SweetShark, Ben on the other hand is like a moldy peach that falls apart in your hands [citation needed].SweetShark said:But.............something similar happened in an old movie.....ah yeah:

A lot actually. Want a list?Magog1 said:how many award winning actors do comic book movies? Isn't that a little strange?
Fair point, but even so, it's worth remembering that Clooney hated Batman & Robin from the start. So the only real indication of whether he'll be any good in the role is if Ben Affleck starts taking potshots at Zack Snyder after he reads the script.Magog1 said:Wow i can't beleive you gave me such an easy lay up ^^.Crispee said:Anybody else getting deja vu? Peter Capaldi ringing any bells?
Oh well. I've just been loving the sheer arrogance of the people who are claiming he can't play Batman with their only argument being that he didn't play Daredevil well. Every actor has their occasional bad performance, and Ben Affleck must have some talent if he won an Oscar for directing and starring in Argo last year.
Ben Affleck: Good enough for the Oscars but not good enough for Comic Book fans. Of course having Batman leap from the very pages of the comics and write his own dialogue probably wouldn't be good enough for comic book fans, they'd call him 'laughably grim' and bad at reading his serious sounding lines.
Also, I actually liked Daredevil. I don't get why people hate on that either.

I mean it's not like George clooney ever won an award. ^ ~.
Look there's alot things that can go wrong in a movie (I thought clooney would be a good bat man)
but this is swimming up hill.
You wanna act reacting poorly you people would riot if they booked Depp, and Despite current events he can act circles around Afflack.
That's what I thought, until I saw this.Magog1 said:Now this is suppose to be a vs movie? (God I hope not),this movie might be DOA well before Ben even gets his hands on this role.
