I don't know hard to pick really. I enjoyed Sora No Otoshimono and Code Geass so I think those two are great anime.

Full Metal Alchemist is perhaps my favorite. It's a little longer, but I feel like it really gives the viewer time to get to know the characters and to weave a big story.

I also really like Avatar: the Last Airbender, though it's not Japanese, so may not qualify as "anime".

Meh, currently im into One Piece, and I don't watch anything else Anime so I'd have to say One Piece.

I'm no hardcore fan nor knowledgeable in that area so my opinion doesn't really count for much.

Trust me, if you dig, it gets SOOOOO much better

I would like to remind everyone who ever watched adult swim back in the day, of Cowboy Bebob. Though Outlaw Star was pretty close too.

haven't watched too many. My 2 favorites are Trigun and fullmetal alchemist. Trying to get into cowboy bebob right now. how many episodes till it starts getting good?

What's not to like about Bebop? It starts awesome! It's a Jazz infused series with an action/comedy facade covering a sci-fi, neo-noir core that is ultimately about Spike's tragedy and redemption. What I love about Cowboy Bebop is its layers and how it balances humour and sadness really well. Keep watching
