Fantastic game...Lordcheez said:Theme Hospital. Yes, it is like any number of theme games like theme park, theme zoo, etc, but it is filled with the most fantastic black british humor. For example, the first disease you get is Bloaty head, where thy literally send in a man with a head three times too large, burst it with a pin and reinflate his head with a bike pump. $10
Haha yes, the one and only!matnatz said:PC World by any chance?Liverpool_Celtic Fan said:That's a nice price there mate! I got that pack for free when I bought a PC back in 2005, funny thing was the PC I bought wasn't capable of playing any of the games until I upgraded the graphics card and memory.matnatz said:I got Hitlist 2005 a bundle of 6 games for £5.
Hitman: Contracts
Prince of Persia : The Sands of Time
Farcry
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Toca Race Driver 2
Deus Ex: Invisible war
The strange thing is that very few (Read: none) are from 2005.![]()
Ah, yes. Great game. Got it from a magazine, though.Booze Zombie said:Arx Fatalis.
That game made me enjoy the RPG experience, so... yeah.
Same here, but I paid $2.50, brand new. Store was closing down.Lekonua said:Psychonauts was the best $4 I ever spent.
It was a straight up bundle. They sold together in a kind of dual jewel case bundle they used to ship surplus games in. They stopped doing the bundles a couple years ago though.woem said:What is the name of the bundle? Or was it some sort of promo pack?Starke said:I got Planescape Torment for $9.95 a couple years back, just slightly before the game became impossible to ever find again.
EDIT: It was bundled with some awful PoS title so basically it was $4.97, but $10 is probably the right threshold for titles in the US, exchange rates aside.
As for me the best cheap game is Quake Life since it's the same as Quake 3 Arena with a lot of additions, and it's completely free.
I'm on my third copy now, and yeah, same thing. Every time I move the game disappears.Nutcase said:Starcraft + Brood War for $10 remains the best deal I've ever gotten. I think I've bought it twice or thrice now (this game has some supernatural ability to get lost when moving).
A-ha! So it's an entire phenomenon...Starke said:I'm on my third copy now, and yeah, same thing.
