Due to a marketing snag, I was able to get Arkam Asylum for $20. And the snag was nationwide.

Back in the days of the Sega Saturn, after the system was discontinued many brick and online retailers were just trying to sell off their stock. For about $75 I got:

Shining Force 3

Why it's a great deal to me is if you look up Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Force 3 on ebay they go for anywhere from $50 - $200 each new.

Just wanted to see if anyone out there got some really sweet deals on a game.

This just happened to me and I thought it was pretty awesome. Picked up Arkham Asylum for $38 (CAD). It was used so it should have been $60 and new here it's $70. Big thank you to whichever idiot at EB games wasn't paying attention during labelling. Probably would have had to wait 2 years to get that price.

Actually, the retail price is $49 Canadian*, so I don't think $38 used is a mistake...

A few things from GOG.com for free, which is always nice. The PC version of Fallout 3, free from GamersGate as a competition prize here on The Escapist.

As for things I've actually paid for: I got the PC version of Oblivion (Game Of The Year Edition) for £2.99, thanks to student discount and loyalty card points.

When I get it I'll take a photo of the receipt, it's a different valuta but it's roughly 50 cents I think.
