Best deal you ever got on a video game?

When Fallout 3 came out I bought it the day after release for just under £24 - bear in mind its usual price was at least £40 and it was going for £28, but I also work at the shop so got staff discount! I also picked up Gears of War 2 for £18 about a month after release... game bargain hunts are the best kind of bargain hunts!

Nothing is better than the 5 finger discount, when I was 6 I picked up super mario world but I didn't know it was stealing (I was young :[). I still have it to this day.

Usually the best deals are the ones you get on old games that weren't big at the time but were critical favorites. They're great titles and usually next to nothing!

When I get it I'll take a photo of the receipt, it's a different valuta but it's roughly 50 cents I think.

Just wanted to see if anyone out there got some really sweet deals on a game.

This just happened to me and I thought it was pretty awesome. Picked up Arkham Asylum for $38 (CAD). It was used so it should have been $60 and new here it's $70. Big thank you to whichever idiot at EB games wasn't paying attention during labelling. Probably would have had to wait 2 years to get that price.

Got Batman: Arkham Asylum free for beating the owner of the store at Guitar Hero!

I feel sad. I've never gotten a good deal, as far as i can remember.

AS for how i used to be.. I've lost at least £250 in games and money.. £130 of it on christmas. When i went to buy some minstrels and left my wallet on the counter.. In London.. 50 miles away.. So i'll need a lot of good deals to make it up!
