60 bucks for FO3 GOTY.
Jesus, man! I got mine for 20 bucks new, and you could get it even cheaper if pre-owned!
You know, after almost a year and a half of staying away from spoilers, gameplay mechanics and swearing the game off for not giving expansions to the PS3 version, I was just happy to come across one. Hence, a bargain. RPGs aren't big in Greece. In fact, anything that doesn't involve a ball isn't big in Greece.

I like getting my money's worth and Bethesda delivered.
Dude... I'm from Portugal! Are you sure you wanna talk about the popularity of anything when compared to football?! :p
Nah. I know when I am beat. Besides, apart from the fact that back home each fan has their own version of rules when it comes to the off-side, I know next to nothing about the sport.
Well, that makes two of us, man. We should totally get together over a beer and talk about not-football!

You've got a deal, man. I've got a spare bathtub you crash at. And while we're at it, we'll also mope at our countries' mutual financial dire straits.

I got Final Fantasy 9 on day of release for £9.99 because someone in ASDA can't price things right (or couldn't, a decade ago)

Not the best bang for buck gaming wise I've ever had (I worked in games retail for 2 years, until recently, so I got a LOT of cheap games) but certainly one of the best near release deals I ever had, especially on a game that I was awaiting and wasn't likely to get due to being £40 everywhere.

Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake for a total of $20 on Amazon around Christmas. Both are two of my favorite games of all time, even to this day.

Vanilla Oblivion used for $5 (PS3), Batman: AA for $35 about a month after release, Battlefield Bad Company for $10 only a year after release, Orange Box for $30, Far Cry for $3, Smash Bros Melee for $5, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for $1 used (gamecube version, but still fun), Resistance 1 for $5, and Metroid Prime 3 for $2.50. Also, Deus Ex for free on Steam (gift). I guess it's a combination of being both cheap and lucky. Some of these games I got years after they were released, but I'm always at least 1 year behind on my game purchases. (I'm just now buying Bayonetta and Darksiders, lol) But hey, being a tightwad is awesome! It may also be because I search every store like an OCD person, trying to find the best deal. Pop into your local Gamestop/video store/Walmart once a week just to browse and you'll be amazed what you can find. I recently found a copy of Bioshock (PS3) for $5. No kidding.

Best value was, without any competition, Ace Combat 4 for ONLY 3 DOLLARS. AC4 is probably my 2nd favorite game ever (after AC5) and I got waaaay more time out of that game than was intended. Dozens of hours for 3 FREAKING DOLLARS!

I got a game for - $20 ... that's negative twenty dollars! They put a $70 in a 2 for $50 bin... I saw it, and thought... hmm I might like that... then saw the price. So I got it and another game for -$20! I can't remember what it was though!

My friend traded me his copy of Gears of War 2 (about a month after the game came out) for my seat on the couch at another friend's house.

At the time, it was the only spot in the house that he could get an internet signal with his crappy laptop.

Best deal I ever made.

I got the Orange Box for 10 bucks.

Best deal I'll make in my life, short of getting a billion dollars for some string.

Metal Gear Solid 4: $8

Being late to the party pays off.

Also, a DS Lite for $55. Thank you, 3DS hype.

I've had a few pretty good deals but the top one has to be The Orange Box for £10

However, my friend was recently given a PS1 with various games plus FF7 in a very good condition...for free (although does being given something count as a deal? :S :p)

Ace Combat 6, 20$. The campaign is awesome, online though when I tried long ago. Full of cheaters, lol. AC-5 The Unsung War is still by far the best of the series.
