Straight from the Zombie Survival Guide, the Trenchspike.

In case you don't know (which I can't say I blame you), the Trenchspike was built like a Brass Knuckles with a downward pointing spike attached for a blade. Its primary use was in WWI Trench Combat, and designed to be stabbed downward into an opposing soldier's head.

I would LOVE to see/get a pair of these.
My brother got a hold of one of those (despite the fact they are illegal in New York, much like every single other fun weapon.) and that is an excellent knife. But it might work better on the living than the undead. A wicked skull cracker, brass knuckles and a big ass blade, I'd hate to be at the receiving end of one of these.
Gorgeous, thanks so much for the picture. It's greatly appreciated.
No problem man.

OM NOM.

Man, I love those things. I'd heard of them before I read the Zombie Survival Guide, but I never knew what they were called. o.o Always knew them as just 'brass knuckles with bitchin' stabbing part'. Also learned more about them in a cheap-but-greatly-amusing book I picked up called Weaponry: An Illustrated History.

But yeah. Definitely one of those, for close-range zombie combat, if it comes to that.

As well as a trench spike, or set of, I'd like one flamberge and a dual set of pistols to go.. Though ammo would be a problem. o.o

But eh. Those are my favourites, even if they're not totally practical.

Though a baseball is always amusing, but better for the more decomposed zombies, I guess, since it would have better chance of knocking their heads right off.

Hmm...

Id say a gun that fires lightning and shurikens...it should also have tits and be on fire xD

But seriously, most probably an high powered assault rifle with a single/burst/auto choice...
And a Katana or Sai blades for Melee/Close encounters/No time to reload...

Perhaps a nuke too...THAT is crowd control =D

Come to think of it...the first isnt a bad idea =P

EDIT:
DAMN IT...someone already did the lightning and shuriken gag...¬_¬

EDIT 2:
Ok...Several someones already made that joke...*sigh* never mind, back to the drawing board

Read Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" and then tell me how long a shotgun would last in that kind of scenario + zombies. The fact that so many people choose it shows that that kind of ammo would be the first to go, and anyone who wants a shotty could just shoot you from outside of your range to get it. Unless you had a Halo 1 shotty, in which case nothing is out of your range.

easy answer, an SKS carbine with internal magazine, none of the later variants with detachable ones. the reason being i still had semi-auto fire. decent range and accuracy. i can plink soda cans at 200 meters. its fed by stripper clip so i won't just blast through round as i do with anything fed with magazines but could still fire relatively fast. it fire a cheap and common place round, 7.6x39, it's light weight, easily broken down in field, and requires very little maintenance other than the occasional clean.

My teeth and fists. They want to bite me? Guess what? I'll bite them first, and make them watch as I chew their fragile body parts, piece by piece.

Zombies don't taste good being dead and all. Also I think you'd probably catch the zombie-itis doing that.
Still it is very manly, have a cookie.

i want an assault cannon a power fist and a suit of terminator armor.
If that doesn't work i would bombard the planet with the life-eater virus destroying all organic matter on the planet.

To whoever suggested the M-4, you are zombie food. The M-4 is basically an M16 with a shorter barrel, and as such fires a fully jacketed 5.56mm bullet, which makes a hole a little bit smaller than a pencil. In short, you have no stopping power. Zombies don't bleed to death, so you're going to have to toast a whole clip just to finish off one.

That's a very good idea^^ Although the recoil'd be a *****.

Ak-47 (world's best assault rifle, and of course, for close encounters, the crowbar.
Didn't the AK-74 replace the AK-47?
As for me, I'd rather have the Galil over the AK. But I've never used either, and am basing my prefrence solely on games(Galil appears to be more accurate over longer distances, but slow firing), I have no idea whether the games hold true to life or not. The XM8 looks to be the Assault rifle I'd pick if I had a choice though(and I'd much rather have a flak gun, it's my favourite gun out of all guns I've used in games).

EDIT: Sorry for the double post.
The AK-74 is just an AK-47 that's been rechambered to fire M-16 ammo, so that choice leaves you up the creek as well.

As for me, I'd take the 12-gauge pistols from "Buck and the Preacher" for close-up punch, because those things just rock. Watch the movie, then tell me I'm wrong.
For melee backup, a flanged mace; *nothing* is better for busting heads.
For long-range sniping, I'd go with a .308 loaded with Nosler green tips. They combine great long-range accuracy with the punch of a hollowpoint.
And finally, as a main weapon, the Tompson submachine gun, AKA Tommy gun. This sweet little number is a fully automatic .45 with a 100-round magazine. Fill 'er up with Glazer Safety Rounds and every one of those hundred shots will remove a limb or a head. It just doesn't get any better than that.

p.s cookie if you get quote
Isn't that the name of the achievement for killing 250 guys with a shotty in Army of Two? I might be wrong, since I know a lot of achievements adopt names from other mediums like movies and such.

Anywho, on to the question. If I could choose ANYTHING? I'd be rockin a MECH and mowing those bastards down. But since those don't exist..... :(

Guns run out of ammo.... close range weapons risk infection.... Hmmm.... Can't very well go without a weapon though, so I suppose I'd have to go with a 12 guage shotty, and Desert Eagle for some head exploding, and a katana.

Yeah yeah, I know. Typical. But if I'm gonna fight zombies, might as well try to have some fun.
No, it's from Army of Darkness which is part of the The Evil Dead series. Do I get a cookie now?
God dammit! I had the milk ready and everything!
