Isn't that what most FPS's are?yankeefan19 said:It's not really an FPS it's more an action/ adventure with guns.keyper159 said:Mirrors Edge. Story was trying to be too many things at once, gameplay was innovative, and definitely a fresh look at the FPS genre.
I say Halo 1 is the best.
actually I more meant platformer than action/ adventure.keyper159 said:Isn't that what most FPS's are?yankeefan19 said:It's not really an FPS it's more an action/ adventure with guns.keyper159 said:Mirrors Edge. Half-Life 2.
Physics, story, pacing, characterization, fun, etc. are all unparalleled.

Or just no longer like shooters.
Or are heavily weighing multiplayer in your ideal concept of an FPS.
Or are just being nonconformist (remember, everyone is being different for the sake of being different, don't follow their example)
Or you just don't like using a PS3 controller for shooters and don't realize (and Resistance just reminded of some old shooter you loved profoundly)
Anyway, sounds to me like you could do with several months of playing games like GalCiv 2 and Empire: Total War (great games mind, and a long time with them will make you appreciate twitchy action again)
