You could have also said fuck you. You fuckin prick. Don't post if all you can do is nark on the host
didn't think people would get worked up over this. I probably could have worded that nicer though. i was just trying to advise that using the search is recommended, didn't mean to come off like a prick

don't be so pick to call me a fucking prick though. that was unwarranted.
well I did post this to see if I could get excelent topic but I got find the search bar fucking idiot oh well.
I was just giving you a word of advise as this topic isn't exactly original. I already admitted that I did come off as an ass hole and I apologized for that. all I ask is that you don't overreact next time.

Erm, you don't have to make a thread just because you know how.
This should be in the official forum rules. :D This, however, is a pretty decent thread, so you're safe.

The PS2 Ratchet and Clank games were pretty awesome. (I don't have a PS3, so I really can't say anything about those games)

Megaman Legends and Sly Cooper series. Please make a new Megaman Legends Keiji Inafune!
I, too, am in love with Megaman Legends. Keiji has said that MML3's the one game he wants to make before he dies, so there may be hope yet.

Oh, I just thought of one: Monster Hunter! I loved that game.
This one I can agree with.

Can't think of anything else at the moment, just some old games that might not update well.

Fire Pro Wrestling. Cult status, and only released in North America on the GBA and PS2, but the lineage of the series dates back to at least the SNES (Super Famicom) if not the NES (Famicom). Intentionally kept as 2D sprite-based even on the PS2, but the gameplay is remarkable and caters to true hardcore wrestling fans. Smackdown vs Raw series really needs to take a page out of their book on how core gameplay should be higher priority than bells and whistles.

Tangent: I heard that WWE has re-signed a contract with THQ for exclusive rights to produce WWE games for another 8 years. In these 8 years, do you think they'll finally revamp the game from the ground up, or will they just keep adding more frosting to the rotten cake?

Halo? It seems that alot of people have gone off it. there's still plenty of people that do like it, but those that don't are more open about their feelings for it.

I like Mechwarrior and MechCommander Games that aren't talked about much now a days.

The first 2 Master of Orion games were great space empire games, to bad they shit the bed with the 3rd. More is not always better le sigh.

Heroes of might and magic, especially heroes 3. also age of empires, the original warcraft games, note how these are all strategy games. There super fun but no one plays them

Ratchet and Clank. And Jak and Daxter. Which Naughty Dog RUINED by making the sequel to a series of platformers a racing game. Honestly Naughty Dog. What the fuck.

I'm gonna throw the Tombraider series up there. I love those games, well the ones made by core design.

Everyone seems to give the old tombraider games a bad rep but man those games were great, not forgetting that without them we wouldn't have half the action adventure games we have today.

Cry moar.
OP: KH? Really? Thats popular as fuck.
No. It's not. No one talks about them.
OT: Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, Shadowrun, and Garry's Mod.
Err... KH is very popular. What exactly do you even by no one talking about it?
As is Half-Life. To my understanding Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein were the shit in their day aswell.

The thread title has "extremely", but c'mon...

The people I talk to that are gamers never talk about KH, Half-Life, Shadowrun, Duke Nukem, or Garry's Mod, or, for that matter, even know they exist. No one talks about them much but the people who are "super hxc gamurz".
Sorry but no, really no. None of those games are "super hardcore". I can understand how your age group might've missed Wolfenstein and Duke Nukem (though calling them unpopular would be like calling ancient Rome historically irrelevant), but Half-Life and Kingdom Hearts are one of the crown jewels of current or near-past FPS and Action-RPG selection.

Just look at how much they sold. Hardly anywhere near unpopular, regardless of whether your friends happen to play them or not.

Katana reads the thread title.
He reaches into a drawer and produces a piece of chalk.
Katana slowly puts a tally mark on an enormous blackboard in the hundreds.
He then replaces the chalk, and produces a pencil. He scribbles a note.
The pencil is dropped to the floor. He produces a gun from the drawer, points it to his temple, and fires.

The note read:

X-Men Legends? which I guess became Ultimate Alliance...
I don't know many people that play those games, but theyre fun if you have all the needed people.
