Best game series not extremely popular

Final Fantasy. Oh... Unpopular? Dragon Warrior Monsters. Fantastic games, especially the first one. Dragon Warrior Monsters the original was such an outstanding game. One of my favorites.

Dementium. Not so much a series, at least not year. There is a sequel coming out next year.

It's certainly not the best game, but it's one of my favorites since it actually manages being a first-person shooter on the DS really well without loosing all the immersion value. That and there are moments that are scary as fuck.

I'll go ahead and say my favorite never-mentioned title--Lost Kingdoms. A card battle fantasy series with an actual, honest to god decent plot, good gameplay, and awesome variety of cards/attackers to use with varied effects. Sure, there were only two, but hey, maybe they'll make another one yet.

No. It's not. No one talks about them.
OT: Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, Shadowrun, and Garry's Mod.

Err... KH is very popular. What exactly do you even by no one talking about it?
As is Half-Life. To my understanding Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein were the shit in their day aswell.

The people I talk to that are gamers never talk about KH, Half-Life, Shadowrun, Duke Nukem, or Garry's Mod, or, for that matter, even know they exist. No one talks about them much but the people who are "super hxc gamurz".

Garry's Mod and Shadow Run maybe. But Duke Nukem, Half-Life and Kingdom Hearts? I have friends who barely touch gaming systems that still know about those three. Heck, I have friends who've never played the game in their life that know the complete story to Kingdom Hearts. I suppose you could argue Duke Nukem and Half-Life. But Kingdom Hearts has a manga and I've heard they're making plans to make a movie. Kingdom Hearts is incredibly popular. You take Final Fantasy and Disney, two of the most well-known things on the planet, and combine them into a game, then it's going to be popular. So I don't know what kind of gamers you hang out with but it's probably less that they haven't heard of it and more that they avoid all games that don't fit their particular style.

It's almost a knee-jerk post for me at this point but the Wild Arms series.The first 3 were excellent and 4 was tolerable. Mind you I haven't played 5 or XF so they could be shit for all I know.

Heroes of might and magic, especially heroes 3. also age of empires, the original warcraft games, note how these are all strategy games. There super fun but no one plays them

I'm playing warcraft III RoC \TFT right now.
Also playing Age of Empires II\III
And HoMM am looking for a copy with all the expansions in it.
