The music that pop up in the DOW vid after the sargeant plants the flag, just plain epic, but whole soundtracks, id have to say Red Alert 2, Fallout 3, The Star Wars RTS that was like Ages of empire.

SSBB, Street Fighter 3 third strike or Def Jam FFNY.

SSBB for variety

SF3: 3S for the hiphop mixes and putting the rhythm back into video game fighting

Def Jam FFNY - a nice variety of instrumentals.

Half-Life, no doubt about it.

I also enjoy the soundtrack of Portal and STALKER.

EDIT: I have to remember which threads I've already posted on.

Guilty Gear.

I love me some Metal!

However, if I'm in the mood for something retro, I absolutely adore the Megaman 9 soundtrack.

Mega Man 2, Halo, World of Goo, Super Mario Galaxy.

World of Goo's Ode to the Bridge Builder is amazing. Made it to my MP3 player, as did Super Mario Galaxy's theme song.

As far as standout songs amid a sea of not as awesome. Mass Effect the opening theme is amazing.

As far as a CD you can listen to day in day out, Chrono Cross. No doubt.

NieR. If only there were more soundtracks.

At a close second comes the Final Fantasy series and Killzone 2.

By far Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly, Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented, Bioshock, and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, but some other good ones are Assasin's Creed, Silent Hill 3, Resident Evil (I guess), and Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.

I can't decide which I like more, the Nier soundtrack or The World Ends With You soundtrack. They're both so awesome.
