Best handgun in any game and why (other than the Halo pistol, please)

First off, i'm bummed out that I can't spew fanboyism about the halo pistol because trust me I could go on about my love of that thing for a very long slightly erotic time.

I have no idea why, but with games I get more attached to my never used pistol than I do to my Aks or shotguns etc, this is especially true on COD games. I guess my favorite would have to be the luger, yeah that WW2 thing. It just pleases me asthetically so much so that when I found one on a game it would stay with me until I finished the level or died.

The Ritchie Revolver from Brink. Packs a mighty punch with the Rapid Fire attachment and a muzzle break. I use it as my primary.

Probably been said, but the Blacktail from Resident Evil 4. Yeah I know that the Red 9 is more powerful, but the blacktail fired faster, handled better, and yeah I really like it.

The Broken Butterfly from Resident Evil 4. Man that gun was bad-ass.

The revolver from halflife is my favourite. It's an instant kill on most things, is super accurate, and doesn't have an unworkable travel time. Just a shame about the stupid ammo limit.
The Deagle from L4D2 too. It's, in some circumstances, the most powerful weapon in the game. Only weapon that will guarantee a kill with a torso shot in realism-expert against normal infected.
Always preferred handguns in games. Been rocking Lucky/Mysterious Magnum from FO:NV and the handgun from S4 League recently.

I like the Pew Pew from Fallout NV, but the silenced .22 pistol was probably the best. It killed everything in one hit if you were hidden.

The Bolt Pistol from warhammer 40k seriously a pistol that shoots minature HEAT Sabot rounds that act as miniature rockets has to be badass

The Schofield from RDR. It's not the fastest, it's not the most powerful, but it's got serious style.

After that, the Blackhawk from Fallout 3.

For me it is the Falcon 2 from Perfect dark (the original) and probably the Red9 from RE4.

That Gun from Fallout New Vegas - the only pistol in the game that can fire amour piecing bullets. - 5.56mm to be exact. Plus you can get it really early in the game and he ammo is common place and cheap to buy and can be used in many other guns. Overall a great gun if your playing in hardcore mode.

The high end Pestilent Defilers in Borderlands. I never understood why it had 2 bullets in a clip because level 69 Mordecai only needed one to kill just about everything that moved/breathed/looked at him funny.

The MPLX Novasurge with a extended mag and lasersight from the WMK mod, (so that it has near perfect accuracy, 36 rounds per clip and only 1 round used per shot rather than the usual 2 rounds) if it counts.

If it doesn't, then Frank Delgado's .50cal pistol would be the most powerfull pistol i ever tried.
