How are guns a good invention?

They are efficient and makes killing, as well as defence easier. Do you prefer people to hit each other with sticks until someone dies? Humans are going to kill one another, no matter what. Guns are just a way to do that, so why all the hate on guns? It doesn't make much sense.

It's not so much guns it's the fact that you can buy them legally

Games are a form of escapism and a lot have no killing of people but are still good games e.g. Braid or Portal

I live in Ireland where police are not allowed guns because a lot of police would abuse the power and a lot of police in the US are corrupt
