AC/DC. Qwest Center. Omaha, NE. January 15, 2009.

I cannot express the awesomeness of the entire thing in actual words, only keyboard gibberish.

sakdoaoasdoapdpaldsdal;dldkof.

And I mean every word.

Oh, that must have been a very fun one, I bet.

I assume Valentine did his traditional "creepy-as-hell" stare during "Danger, Danger! High Voltage!"?

Would it be a real show without it ;) Going to see them again in January!

Iron Maiden on their Somewhere Back in Time tour in 2008. First concert I've been to, and it was the best. I have yet to see bands like Slayer, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, but as of now Maiden has the best live show I've seen
Don't bother with Slayer. Massively disappointing when I saw them. They just stand there and play the songs, you might as well just listen to it on CD for all the energy they put into it. The crowd tried hard though so you'd probably still enjoy some of it.

Against Me! Just one show turned me from a just a run of the mill fan to them being my favorite band ever. And I don't even think it was their best considering it seemed like they toned it down for the Silversun Pickups fans (the SSPUs were headlining).

Amazing music, everyone was singing along and Tom Gabel had the biggest grin on his face.

Hurt are pretty good, especially when J. Loren whips out the violin. I swear, first time I've ever seen a crowd go ape shit over a violin solo.

I also saw Shinedown, which completely blew and I saw completely bummed, and I reluctantly stayed for the headlining band... Nickelback. I know I'll get some crap for it and I didn't buy the tickets to see them and I hate to admit it, but they put on a fantastic live show.

Lots of love for Bloodstock which is great! Been going since 2000! But the best live shows were not actually their as I tend to find bands loose something at open air venues.

Devo were amazing last year still fantastic after all these years and their new album is brill

The Grandmothers of Invention, frank Zappa's backing band last year were superb. The spirit of the great man was smiling down that night!

And Comus, no one will have heard of them but they are one of the greatest pseudo acousitic acid dark wave folk bands ever. They influenced opeth...

I have my top 3, couldn't pick just one.

1. Blue Man Group, with Mike Relm (look him up) headlining
2. Reel Big Fish with Streetlight Manifesto and Suburban Legends
3. Shpongle and Infected Mushroom

Runner-up: Gaucho (this folk gypsy band group thing). The music was pretty good, but the show deserves mention because it was: a) a free show, and b) there were about 5 or 6 people there (it was in a small café) doing some CRAZY swing dancing.

EDIT:
WHAT AM I THINKING!?!?!
Distant Worlds easily takes my number 1 spot. That was pretty amazing.

AC/DC in Sydney when they were over here earlier this year. They may be a bunch of old farts now, but they can still put on a mean show. Fuck they were awesome.

I saw a stage production of The Rocky Horror Show a couple of years ago. It was awesome.

The Pixies, QOTSA, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, The Subways(oddly), Iggy and the Stooges, and Tim Minchin.

If I have to pick one, after literally a moment of consideration...Pixies wins!

Either Airbourne, Steel Panther or AC/DC at Download 2010. Them Crooked Vultures, Stone Sour, Rage Against the Machine, Cancer Bats and Killswitch Engage were pretty awesome too... (especially when Killswitch sang holy diver as a tribute to Dio).
