I saw Devo live in Sydney and dear god they my be getting old but they are sitll Devolving nicely! They were so good I'd travel to see them in a heart beat.

Neurosis probably put on one of the most intense sets I've seen at Roadburn a couple of years ago. I'm seeing them again in December in London, can't wait.

Also, hoping Godspeed You! Black Emperor will be just as good the next day in Manchester.

I went to see Architects etc. at Manchester Academy dude, and it was freaking astounding aswell. But for best live thing ever....hmmm...If stand-up comedy counts, it's between Ross Noble and Russell Howard really, never laughed so hard in me life

The Wall, performed by Roger Waters. It was really awesome, because during the first part they built a wall across the stage. Throughout the second part, they played either behind it, through holes in it, or in front of it. And at the end, they tore it down during The Trial.

Not to mention the flying pig, giant puppets, or using the wall as a screen. It was so awesome.

Damn dude... I envy you. Best show I've ever been to was the Pink Floyd Experience... VERY faithful cover band of the greatest group ever. Not quite the original but it's as close as you get...

Saw them at Electric Picninc two months ago.

Friday nights are for meeting new people.
Having drinks.
Going to the best gig of yourlife.
Chatting with the band afterwards.
Coming out drenched in sweat and feeling like you've been beaten up underwater.
Going to see Health do a DJ set across the street.
Dancing so fucking to New Order - Blue Monday that when I came to people were raising their hands in praise to me.

Best live performance ever? Amanda Palmer. Her after shows are great, always spontaneous, with a small group of people, lots of talking, some randomly played music, loads of laughing, nice atmosphere you will never get from any of the big 'mainstream' artists.
It always has that nice cosy feeling, like when you are busking on the streets and just chit chat with your friends and random strangers between or even during songs. No barrier between performer and fans.
