Best Movie Trilogy Ever!!!!!

Hey escapist, Planning a movie marathon.

So what is the best movie trilogy of all time?... if i have missed one, please include in the comments. I will try to put in poll.

Edit: WTF, deleted poll, now i cant put one in... oh well, just say your favourite i suppose

I cant decide between original star wars, Die Hard, Lord of the rings, Jurassic park or Terminator.

I would put matrix but the last one let the side down.

I don't know about you, but I absolutely detested the second one.
Dear lord that was bad.

The third had giant robots. That's probably what made it less unbearable.

I cannot think of any trilogy where I liked all of them a lot.

'Terminator' I only really liked the second.
'Star Wars' I only liked the second (out of the original 3).
With 'The Matrix' I loved the first, the other two were "meh".
'Die Hard' I only thought the first was great.
'The Lord of The Rings' went steadily downhill as they took more and more major things out to stick in pointless "epic" battles or scenes.

EDIT: Someone reminded me of 'Austin Powers', so I shall go with that.

Die hard and Terminator are also good, but watch out with Terminator. That third one stumbles in the doorway.

err i really dont know i loved blade triology one and two absolutly amazing three was not very good though er i think when the caped cruisader comes out it will be the batman rtiology as batman begins and dark knight were amazing i can tell the next one is going to be nice as well

I'd say Lord of the Rings over Star Wars, although I do love Star Wars. LotR is just more emotionally engaging.

In fact, Revenge of the Sith is the most emotionally-engaging of all the Star Wars films.

Bourne trilogy gets my vote, damn good series of films. It's between that, Star Wars and LoTR anyway; and I'd choose the Bourne trilogy.
