Moulin Rouge.
I hate musicals and I loved that movie. If you check it out make sure to get the 2001 version, that's the good one.

REPO! The Genetic Opera. very funny dark songs and a very great cast of characters.
Nathan: single father who happens to be a repossesser of organs for a giant corporation, Geneco.
Blind Mag: opera singer with robotic eyes legally owned by Geneco.
Luigi: possible heir of Geneco with a bad temper (often kills whoever annoys him and is immune to the law due to wealth).
Amber sweet:second possible heir, spoiled brat (played by Paris Hilton) who dreams of stealing Mag's place as Genecos singer.
Pavi(best character in movie history):final possible Geneco heir who enjoys wearing other peoples faces (literally) though no one seems to care and he is quite the ladies man.

but still... ZYDRATE comes in a little glass vial!

A little glass vial?

Also, supports the notion that you should see REPO! The genetic Opera. It's not the best musical film out there, but it is entertaining.

A LITTLE GLASS VIAL! and that little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery... I could go on from there.

Blood brothers in Liverpool, not trying to sound pretentious here but people from Liverpool doing a play set in Liverpool just fits. I don't want to be banned for sounding like an advertising whore but if you're ever in Liverpool go to the empire theatre and see it it's amazing.

Chicago, because it is the only one I have seen on Broadway. Broadway is awesome, by the way.

Jekyll and Hyde was my favorite. I am trying to find Nosferatu and, I plan on watching Spamalot at some point in the next decade

Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, and latecomer Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. These three, each in their own way, are exceptional.

The Producers was pretty damn funny

But for my money, I'd go for Busey Malone

Jesus Christ Superstar! The '73 one, not the 2,000 one. Holy balls it is my favorite musical of all time, takes an interesting twist of showing Jesus' story from the viewpoint of Judas, and Carl Anderson (Who plays Judas) has some of the most fun-to-sing songs I've ever heard. Definitely something to look into.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. Aside from being exceedingly funny, it is a very good musical. Heck, "Blame Canada" even got nominated for an Academy Award (but lost to Phil Collins. Stupid Phil Collins).
You ninja'd me. Bastard xD

What he said ^ Best. Musical. Ever

*saunters off singing What Would Brian Boytono Do?*

The Blues Brothers. Loved that movie. Do concert films count as musicals? REALLY loved Stop Making Sense.
