Best Nickelodeon Cartoon show in your opinion?

Remember Courage the Cowardly Dog? That show scared me more than a few times!

Before I even clicked open that first spoiler I was already chanting Return the Slab. That show was super creepy. Excellent, though.

On Topic: Shows that aren't A:tLA? Invader Zim is a top pick. So was Hey Arnold.

For me, probably a tie between Hey Arnold and the Adventures of Pete and Pete.

Pete and Pete would win it for me easily, except it's not a cartoon and probably shouldn't make it into your list of best cartoons.

I'd say it's The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Mainly because I loved the movie so much I just wanted more of the characters. That's why Planet Sheen was a huge letdown for me. An unorthodox choice I know but I'm sticking with it. The show was awesome and I love it.

Also it had a very kickass intro sequence.

Also, as far as CN Cartoon Cartoons go, screw Ed, Edd n Eddy, hated that show. Grim & Evil and Courage the Cowardly Dog all the way.

And yet, all three of those shows haven't gotten a full complete series release on DVD, I think... Fuck you, Cartoon Network!

Spoiler: I have not ever seen anyone else remotely acknowledge Pelswick as even existing.

And I think this is an unfair question to ask because its pretty much going to be one big circle jerk of saying "Avatar: The Last Airbender"

But the old Nicktoons were not complete sloutches. And personally Hey Arnold is my absolute favorite Nicktoons of all time. The characters are all 3 dimensional people. You know their backstories, you see their famalies. And Arnold is probably the most good guy person I have ever seen.

So many funny episodes and so many heartbreaking episodes. (Mr. Hyunh's backstory)

I was going to say this, I love Hey Arnold. I just bought the box set, in fact. There were so many secret details.

Helga and her neglectful parents. Her moms alcoholism and unhappy marriage. The implication, I think, that she got pregnant before marriage and gave up her future. The fact that their teacher and Eugene are closeted homosexuals. Birdman. That show had more depth then most adult shows, and a lot more subtlety. And, most importantly, it was funny.
