Best plot twist in a game

Now before we start i think everyone agrees that betrayal by your higher-ups isn't exiting and is either see through and expected or just shoved in randomly so the writers have some filler so we'll exclude them.
But my vote has to go for the recent Splinter cell conviction, wont give much away but i recommend you bring a friend along (bit of a cryptic clue for you there)

My favorite plot twist would have to be from Bioshock. Anyone who's played the game knows what I'm talking about, and even some who haven't, but I still won't talk about it here, because I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't played it.

For a possible future plot twist, at the end of Gears 2, the Queen makes a passing reference to Marcus' father like she knew him or whatever and the little bit at the very end after the credits roll. So Gears 3 should be pretty interesting.

I don't know if the ending to Half-Life 2: Episode 2 counts as a plot twist or a sudden, abrupt and HORRIBLE change in events but it definitely caught me offgaurd. ;(
