This is complicated. If you are asking if I would go to war with child molesters then I would say no. They would be put on the front line of my army along with rapists and murderers, and if they survived they would win their freedom, but if they ever committed such an act again they would be thrown back in prison for the remainder of their life.Lonan said:

This was the real World War II reason. (Granted, we didn't have to start that war, they brought it to us.) A nationalistic sentiment had wormed its way into the people's hearts in the Axis powers that had to be put down like the rabid dog it was. Such was how red hot it burned, it took the invention and application of the atomic bomb to snuff it out entirely.
I feel we might be getting closer to that again in terms of how well the neocons have select parts of the country wrapped around their little fingers. It makes me wish I had a few cruise missiles on hand for certain senators and their more affluent supporters. (What a rude awakening one of those would be to a society so sedated by modern entertainment.)

The best reason to start a war? To slim down the surplus population.
The worse reason to start a war? Trying to increase the surplus population. Infact if you start a war trying to improve the enviroment, or economy, or anything (other than freedom, liberty, and democracy (snort)) Because simply wars kill and destroy everything.

As for reasons to fight a war, ensuring the comfort and economic success of one's country men is a good enough reason. When the world finally runs out of oil we don't want a bunch on angry Iraqis sitting on the last remaining stockpile just because our embargo prevented them from selling it.

Ignorance is the lack of knowledge or information. I can understand killing people who are shown the information and openly regect it, but to kill people that never even got the memo?
To bring the world under one order as a peaceful unified whole... under my command of course.
