I think Supreme Commander Forged Alliance will win hands down here... (the best RTS to date)

I would have to say the Monkylord.

A stealth unit that will rip your base apart in seconds if it gets in.
The only way to stop it is to see it early, which is a problem when it does not show up on radar and it can hide under water...

Then again, you can't argue with nukes... ...and supreme commander does nukes on an epic scale.
Yeah but once everyone started using nukes people began hosting games that excluded them, or everyone just built four or five anti-nuke launchers with three defensive missiles in each...
But I do remember one game where everyone said "fuck it" to ground units since all four of both teams players set up a massive defensive line on Setons Clutch, and it became a nuke race...
Two players built anti-nukes in all four bases, while the other two built nuke launchers. The end result is the enemy team having six nuke launchers and eight anti-nukes, and our team having ten nuke launchers and sixteen anti-nukes...
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom...

It has to be the M7 Priest from Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

Its basically a British 105mm Howitzer on a tank, and it can blow the ever-loving shit out of pretty much anything on the map. Get a few of them and make a proper bombardment, and the amount of stuff you will fuck up is a sight to behold.

I am surprised that someone else here actually plays Company of Heroes here. The game seems to have little love here. Glad to see a fellow admirer of the M7 Priest. That or the 25 pounder(same thing in the end really) are the best weapons in any RTS I've played.

Yeah, CoH is a fantastic game, the expansions included. Although I prefer Opposing Fronts to Tales of Valor, I like the fact that Relic dared to do something a bit different with the 2nd expansion.

And I agree, the British Artillery is truly awesome. Creeping barrage FTW! Although I do have a soft spot for the Fallschirmjagers, once they are upgraded to have FG-42s, the long range guns of the Brits still win my heart :p

Loved that game but I always killed those by using an ungodly amount of archers.

Mine would be any general worth his salt in the same game.

Oh and in Sins of a Solar Empire you got this gun that can fire into other solar systems and blow stuff up there, it's pretty awesome too.

Mamelukes anyone?
Hell yes. Turtle ships can be even worse though if your enemy are stuck too close to the shore line. I killed hundreds of Japanese samurai with just a couple of Korean turtle ships (they fire so fast, the samurai can't dodge the shots in time).

Nukes/ICBMs in Rise of Nations, launch 10 and you cause Armageddon. Or the Novalith Cannon from Sins of a Solar Empire. It's a giant space station, shaped like a sawed-off shotgun, that destroys planets. (Well, it destroys the civilisation of that planet.)

Avatar of Khaine. The instant you see one of those rumble into battle, depending on who's side it's on it can either be the symbol of victory, or the harbinger of your doom. Regardless, they're always the center of any battle they participate in and cannot be ignored for fear of it wiping out entire armies with a single massive blow.
If your Eldar opponent is rumbling the Avatar into battle, he's an idiot. The Avatar is weak for an Uber, and his biggest advantages are the boost to build time, vehicle cap, and morale he gives whilst active. Avatar sits in your base and preens, Fire Dragons get in the back of your base and fuck it up with their undisruptable attack.

Relic are such a shameless bunch of Eldar fanbois, they're ridiculously broken in T4, 30 vehicle cap?

And even if you do "win" they'll just have cloaked webway gates everywhere so it takes an hour to hunt down the last bonesinger with his ridonkulous teleport range.

The Shaman in Populous: The Beginning. You could walk her into the enemy base and spawn a fucking volcano, a river of lava, and hurricanes. You could also destroy land, and spawn bees to keep the enemy from even getting close to you. Totally over-powered and AWESOME.

Oh, and the car in AoE2. The one you got by using the cheats. You could spawn a whole army of them and have hours of fun! That and Furious the Monkey Boy.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, all the "super" units from Rise of Legends. What is cooler then a massive steam powered spider that shoots rockets? Nothing. It also has the ability to burrow underground and show up anywhere on the map doing damage to whatever it unearths under. Not to mention its ability to become invincible for a short time, stop firing and heal completely, or its self explanatory barrage ability.

The Doge's cannon from the same game is also pretty epic. It fires huge rounds across the map to anywhere you have line of sight. You might think this would be a problem if not for the other building that same faction gets that can see anywhere on the map you select.

I got a new one...
I saw someone with a Siege Tank for an avatar, which inspired me to dig up the old april fools Tauren Marine and make it into my own avatar...
If you go and watch the action moovie here [http://us.starcraft2.com/features/terran/taurenmarine.xml] you'll see a pretty overpowered (and bad-ass) unit...
It's really too bad that it was only a joke, although I'm sure if Blizzard won't release it as some sort of extra someone will dig up the file or make a mod...

The Monolith. Not only are you facing endless armies of lifeless machines that can reanimate, which this thing produces endless streams of, but you're facing a giant fucking pyramid that fires massive guass explosions with four cannons on the corners that slaughter all survivors. Not to mention you can have more than one, and they can teleport.
