WORST COVER EVER: Under Pressure by My Chemical Romance and Used
- You can't touch Bowie and Freddie Mercury and this cover is ungodly bad sounding to me.
I can one up you. Fall Out Boy covered Walk (Pantera). Yep.

This whole album. Especially Veronica Sawyer (originally Edna's Goldfish).

God Reel Big Fish are good.

Nine Inch Nails' cover of Joy Division's Dead Souls.
had already been mentioned and also mentioned why it sux

that long intro is there for a good reason and Trent totally missed the point of it and the song actually loses a lot of it's meaning and power without it.

now NiN have done some good covers like "Get Down Make Love", "Physical" and "Suck", tho he did sing the original version on the Pigface album

Just found a beautiful one. Sara Bareilles' cover of I'm On Fire, originally by Bruce Springsteen.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies.
I prefer the version by brother IZ.

I also like Radiohead's cover of "Headmaster Ritual".

Also,

Sea of Temptation - Misery Business (Paramore)

is fantastic for a laugh.
Sea of Treachery. But yes, probably one of the only covers to be better than the original.
Oh, and Surfin' USA- Blind Guardian.

Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt.
I fucking love you.

Also, "Stripped" (originally Depeche Mode) by Rammstein, "Crazy" (originally Seal) by Mushroomhead (I was surprised too), "One", "Rusty Cage", and pretty much any cover by Johnny Cash except "Personal Jesus".

Also anyone who says "Ein Lied" by Nena, "Another Brick in the Wall" by Korn, or "Behind Blue Eyes" by Limp Bizkit gets shot.

I liked Sheryl Crow's cover of Sweet Child of Mine. As well as The Goo Goo Dolls cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'I Don't Want To Know'

Metal covers of somewhat normal songs are my favourite

Ah crap, so it is. Thanks for pointing that out.

And yeah, definitely better than the original, I think.

Moonsorrows cover of For Whom The Bell Tolls was pretty epic
and Green Day have a few good covers under their belts.

I also liked Dopes cover of You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)
