Yeah i'll go with the village as well. I burst out laughing really hard in the cinema i was so suprised by it. Also fight club. I got so sucked into it i didn't see the twist coming.

Angels & Demons had a pretty good ending. I actually guessed the twist correctly... I just predicted the wrong character doing it.
Obviously Luke Skywalker's paternity test and KotOR1's identity crisis are pretty good.
I think my favorite has to be BioShock though. The Fontaine thing was unexpected, but the philosophical crisis of choice and "Would you kindly" blew me away. Brilliant intellectualism I'd never seen in a video game before.

The main villain is you from the future. He set up everything in the game so you could train and test your powers. In the future there is some massive bad guy that basically kills every one, but because you had a family you ran and protected them as he destroyed the world. Then your family was killed but by then it was to late to stop him. So you go back in time to kill of all emotional ties and trains you to be able to stop the true evil. Bad ass ending.
