BioShock.

Atlas is Fontaine and while he isn't any better or worse than Ryan, you have more of a personal reason to hate him.

...Sort of.
Yeah nobody makes a fool out of an emotionally oblivious mute with no face, has no free will, and could have been killed off before he even got to rapture.

and mine is Serial Experiments Lain nobody here has probably even heared of it and if you have then you should know what I mean when I say the words "ALL RESET RETURN"... or maybe you shouldn't

The Usual Suspects. That movie had the textbook example of a perfectly implented and surprising twist ending.

Pure win for the Family Guy reference.

And I'd have to go for M. Knight Shamalablahblahwizzyknickers' The Village...NAAAAT.

(srsly I still go with FFVII, holds a special place in my heart)
That wasn't Family Guy that was from Citizen Kane (or is it Cane)

The ending in Mirrors

I wanted him to live! Not end up inside the mirrors!

I checked out Watchmen the other day and was pretty impressed by its ending. I've been told the comic is different so I'm looking forward to reading it soon.

Okay, I have seen better twists, but I'd rather not go off listing every awesome movie/game that has already been listed, so...

Armored Core: For Answer on hard mode, Maximillion Thermidor is actually Ostdarva in disguise.

Yeah, I know, not very shocking or anything like that, I was just trying to be original/not rip off someone else's already posted twist.

I liked the twist in The Prestige. It was really well executed and a complete shocker.
Agreed. Also, Fight Club had one of the most mindblowing twists I have ever seen.

Resistance 2

You get shot in the head. Not much of a twist if you played the game and payed attention to the story, but its still pretty cool.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned Jade Empire yet.

when you find out your master was just using you to get back at his brother. One of the greatest endings ever. And on the second playthrough, you actually notice all the little details hinting at the truth, but you don't notice until its all over.

Angels & Demons had a pretty good ending. I actually guessed the twist correctly... I just predicted the wrong character doing it.
I had like 7 differant theories about the ending, I was close on one, but still, it was awsome. One of my favorite books.

Sigh. As much as I hate Stat Wars, the "I am your father moment" has to take the cake because it's probably one of the most memorable and iconic twists ever created. SIGH......

Course my second has to be in Terminator 2 when you find out that Arnie is the good Terminator and the T-1000Cop is the killing machine. God I love that movie.

yeah but the thing with that is you could figure it out if you paid attention, i realized his quote of "the best thing the devil did was convince the world he didn't exist"

i think it was a great movie tho and a great ending

not sure what my favorite twist ending is. i am kinda fed up with a bunch of the M. Night Shyamalan ones tho

Everything you say is hilariously true, and yet I got so caught up in that game I skipped a day of work to finish it.

I suppose sometimes the faceless mute thing really does work the way it's supposed to, in that it lets you really feel like you're in the game. Only other game where it worked for me was in Half-Life 2.

...Which also kinda has twists. Humans are actually helping the Combine, and now that the Vortigaunts are free from Xen, they're trying to help you.

When I first read Watchmen. First there is the twist and it looks like:
Adrian Veidt is the bad guy.
Then there is the second twist where it looks like:
Adrian Veidt is the GOOD GUY!.........depending on how you look at it.
