these are neither best or worst voices but its made me think,

All the people from the C&C series cutscenes were terrible, altho i dont no if that will count as acting or voice acting, either way.

except Kane, he was the only one in it u could actually believe, i loved Kane (not in a gay way) because he made the story of the game come alive.

Maybe it was just the load time on the audio files, maybe it's the actors themselves, non the less, the voices on that game REALLY pissed me off.

ghe have you ever played house of the dead games... that voice acting is even worse than RE 1's, yes, it is possible.
I loved Toonstruck cast, Legacy of kain, I like the voices of the mgs characters although the voice actors do try to hard from time to time. but the voices fit the character.
Monkey island 3 and 4. I also found the voice acting from armed and dangerous pretty good to listen to.

In fact, I'd go as far as saying 90% of talkie point n click adventures are worth it. Chris Barrie as Simon The Sorcerer.....why only the 1 game?

Also, I loved most of the cast of Final Fantasy X. John Dimaggio FTW!

Most of the main cast is alright, but later in the game, you start meeting japanese and french NPCs. And those you meet are fucking horrible. They have these insanely bad accents and no feeling at all. I found a youtube video. Beware - it's quite cringe worthy:

I didn't find a video of any japanese NPCs. Those are actually worse, if you can believe it.

No love for the late Tony Jay?

Tony Jay was awesome; I mentioned his Narrator in Bard's Tale as a fav - but frankly, not even that could compare to what he got away with in Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". BEST Disney villain voice ever, period. And the subject matter was very un-disney as well. "I had some trouble with the...fireplace", indeed.

Baldur's Gate had some nice voice acting, especially the inimitable Minsc [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxSOaxIuaRo] (the barbarian with a head wound and a pet named Boo, the world's only miniature giant space hamster).

Jim Cummings, who voiced Minsc, is in pretty much everything animated, but especially he's in just about every Disney movie of the last twenty years or so. His filmography has grossed more than Johnny Depp. More than Robert DeNiro. More than Jim Carrey...

And he's pretty much always awesome.

Whoever did the voice for Lucien Lachance in Obllivion was perfect for the character. All the voice acting in GTA IV is spot on, as well as in Bioshock.

for me the best is Kratos' voice, it just captures his personally perfectly

the worst is a tie between Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1 (Lance Bass WTF!?!?!?)
and the voice of dante in devil may cry 4 (aside from the liiiiiiiiight scene i thought the voice acting in the orginal was perfect, so i was pissed when they kept his teenager voice)
