I really don't understand what everyone is talking about. "Greed"? It's not like anyone that's not heterosexual cheats on who they are with. It's just who you're attracted to, it doesn't really pertain to the rest of your personality.

I'm pan-sexual btw

I'm wondering if the stereotype that bi people are more likely to cheat is true.

Anyone wanna confirm/deny this?
Do you like, say blonds and red-heads? If so, do you feel the need to cheat on a blond partner with a red-head, just because of the hair color?

It's kind of like that. Being attracted to both doesn't mean that you can't be monogamous.

I'm straight, I love Men, only find Men sexually attractive and would only be physically and emotionally envolved with a Male.

Of course I find other Females pretty, but that's it, nothing emotional or physical about it.

The greed thing sounds like so much bullshit. If you're single, what does it matter if you go for a guy one time, and a girl the next? You're ALL available (or rather, should be, you naughty cheaters) at the end of the day anyway; gender is neither here nor there. You don't see guys going round claiming lesbians are stealing all their women. The only POSSIBLE way it could ever be greed is if bisexuals date them all at the same time, and last time I checked, bisexuality isn't the same as polygamy.

Honestly, if anyone ever comes out with that reason, I instantly judge them to be stupid, jealous, or both. No offense meant by that, but I can't believe people can't see through that kind of sheer ignorance, and surely greed would not be a problem if you could attract partners in the first place.

Jeez, I'm not even bisexual and I'm getting worked up over this. >_> I have absolutely no problem with it, apart from kids claiming to be bi because it's cool. Then it's just sad.

I wouldn't like to label myself at all. I'm often accused of being bisexual but to be honest I hate the stigma it brings so I tend to deny it. If I have to conform to a group, I'd rather describe myself as pansexual AKA 'I'll date anyone regardless of sex or gender' because it's about LOVE, people.

i hate it when people say this

i think hes asking about people who are actually bi in that they will actually go for people of both genders

personally i think being bi is that best way to go

also on the argument that being bi is greedy

how is it greedy, just because im bi doesnt mean i want every person in the world, or that im going to cheat it just means i find my self attracted to people of both genders

And you base that on... what? I have absolutely no interest in men. Only interested in women. Ergo, 100% straight. Don't see what's so rare about that.

"everyone is a bit bi"
thats just silly on the face of it. It allows for no individuality. (and yes i have tried the same gender, didn't float my boat and that was that) I know from that experience i am 100% straight. I enjoyed his company as a friend but sexually men do nothing for me. Thats why im secure in saying that im straight.
I merely said that is what I believe. I was not stating the truth towards everyone else. I'm sorry if it came across as such.

I think bisexuality is just an excuse for abnormally amorous behavior. If a dude says he's bisexual, everyone interprets that as gay. If a chick says she's bisexual, she's just a straight, attention-seeking whore.

Get your dick out of the grey area! It's filthy in there.

Wait, how does "growing out of" being bisexual make them greedy?
Eh, I don't really think much about the sexualities of anyone. Isn't really a point of interest to me, since I'm nonsexual.
No problems with them because of how they are, so long as they, or anyone else, has no problem with how I am.
Nonsexual? You don't get any urges at all?

Indeed, that is so.
It doesn't mean that life is grey, just that there is one "major" part missing... a void. A void that I fill with videogames, reading, animé, spending time with friends, etc.

I'm curious what you mean by this, could you elaborate? I'm not sure I agree with this but if you explain it in greater detail I may concur.

I'm curious; do they fill it well?

Why are people saying that everyone is bi, even if it's a little? I have NO sexual or romantic feelings towards men. I am not a bisexual. Simple as that.
Then you belong in a museum.
That's just rude. There's nothing wrong with not being bi, giving someone shit for being straight is on the same level as being homophobic, it's a two way street.

Huh. Never heard of it. Although I've thought about the idea before.

I am constantly flabbergasted at how bisexuality is perceived. The world seems to think of them as cheating oversexed whores. Why not let bisexuality be what it is; A form of attraction, where gender barriers don't exist. That is what bisexuality means to me.

If sexuality was a choice (and it is not), then "greed" would be a case by case basis, not a sweeping accusation on bi's the world over.
