But for the last time, Atheism is not a religion. It's in fact, the opposite.

Atheism is a belief system and is therefore a religion. You pontificate on the existence of sacred beings so you actually are discussing a religion.

The True Atheist, if there ever could be such a thing, would simply ignore all concept of religion, rather than taking the "ZOMG! PEOPLE GOT KILLED FOR BELIEVING" line that we've heard so many times.

I also have nothing against religion, or any lack of, and I think this is fine, as long as they don't go pushing it down my throat. I know most people seem to think that all religious people are just waiting to call everyone a heathen, and tell them to repent, and be all annoying and stuff, but, at least in my experience I've found, that is a largly untrue steretype, there are just as many nice religious people as there are total dicks, but the nice ones just keep to themselves, so everyone else thinks all christians and such are out there calling everyone on the street sinners, and being in general zealots. But I've got off topic, I'll stop now.

Agreed: something like that is more along the lines of Anti-theism. And is that a joke about- No. I'm not going to ask the obvious question.

So when the show's main "villain" does something that contradicts Christianity, it's up to bibleman to force his facist Christian opinion upon him and all the kids in the audience? That's terrible. Any parent who condones this show isn't fit to have a child.

Children shows should try to teach multiple viewpoints and tolerance, not this facist crap.

Why would you complain about this? It's obviously a show for young Christian children and honestly there's nothing wrong with this. You wouldn't hate this much on Veggietales, would you? Yes, it's a pretty cheesy show, but obviously none of you fit the demographic that it was targeting.

i find it funny how if a religion makes a tv show directed at other religious people everyone else gets up in arms about it. its freedom of religion and freedom of speech, 2 things this country was founded on. if you dont like it move to china.

No. I'm not making this up. There is a show, on TV, about a Christian superhero called Bibleman.

Now, I'm for all relgion, including atheism. People can do what they like for all I care. This however, is mindboggling. I really don't understand how a TV show as forced and terrible as this has made it through not three, not four, not five, but TEN years of airing.

What are you thoughts on this Escapist?

Nothing more, nothing less - atheists have that UND ONLY THAT to connect them.

Lack of belief in gods would make you Agnostic as you've not shown any strong views either way.

You are mistaken. Atheists simply do not believe in Gods altogether, therefore, no faith, no religion. An Agnostic is not sure if there is or isn't a god.
