Harry Potter 6, I'm not spoiling it but the movie did an absolutely terrible job with the ending. The book had a decent ending and the movie decided, "You know what, I want people to piss themselves with anger because I like piss, piss makes me happy,"

It was bullshit why? I mean, it's vague and a little complicated. But there's no deus ex machina or plot hax. There's nothing inherent in the plot that should make one go "Oh come on!.
1. EVERYONE is dead ('cept two people but they won't be around very long either), anything that ends like that is bullshit to me.

2. I understand that he was pissed at Asuka, but considering that they were the ONLY two people on the planet, I would figure that there is something that he could think to do that was more productive than kill her.

3. Why is everything dead/gone, I thought that the whole instrumentality thing was meant to work on humans specifically.

Amendment : I know that they aren't really dead, but from where I stand they are effectively dead as they now exsist as some sort of collective being, but my point is that humanity is dead. That is what I hate.

Explanation: As I feel I have already made clear, I hate any ending in which there is NO hope for humanity; and I hate it even more when the characters (the "good" ones I mean) themselves go out of their way to make this the case. For Christ's sake, even Watchmen ended in a way in which humanity was able to pull through. Sure a good many died, but in the end it was a win for humanity. So what I am getting at is that anything that is anti-humans is automatically bullshit to me.
Yeah, I can understand that. Though I will say that the intended symbolism Isn't that humanity dies out. But rather shinji and asuka become the new adam and eve. Humanity doesn't lose so much as it reboots. In fact there's implications that it's a cycle. The new movies coming out are speculated to actually happen after the 3rd impact.
That makes no sense, Asuka died, there couldn't be a new beginnig because Shinji had to be a dipshit. I have actually been hearing that NGE: Rebuild thing is supposed to be an official rewrite of the series.

No Country for Old Men. I'm going to assume you know what happened. I mean, I know that it was intentional and all, but... well, that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to be disappointed.
What actually happened? I was falling asleep by the time the credits were rolling, because the end took so long.

ALIENS AS THE REASON FOR A PLOT = BAD ENDING TO A MOVIE
That was the same problem I had with Indy 4.

OT:
-Any of the Star Wars Prequels come to mind, although those were also bad through-out
-The Bourne Ultimanum was dissatisfying to me in that it looked like a setup for another movie, but other than that it was fine
-Pirates 2 and 3
-10,000 BC
-Any Matrix Sequels

...that's all I can think of for now
am i really the only one who liked the star wars prequels yeah they wernt perfect but i loved two and three but i suppose phantom menace was not that good

Javier Bardem is hit in a random car accident, but he's fine. That useless sheriff drones on about a vague dream to his wife.

CUT TO BLACK.

To be honest I like endings that are very blink, no happy endings so every Hollywood movie end pisses me off a bunch XD

You didn't realize those guys where aliens early in the movie?

Back on topic. I am Legend had a terrible ending. Though I think the flying car in Grease is easily the worst ending ever.
I had a suspicion that they were but I didn't want to believe it because the movie was so good so far.

P2. Okay, this is a "Horror" Movie (It's more of a thriller than a Horror Film) starring Wes Bentley (Played "Blackheart" in Ghost Rider).

So this girl plays Cat and Mouse with this guy for almost a fortnight, handcuffs him to a car, stabbed him in the eye and killed his dog, and all he says to her that is the catalyst is "Come Back you MotherF**king C**t!" I understand no woman wants to be called that (If you know a woman who is not bothered by being called that, IT'S A TRAP!) So, she takes the guys tazer and ignites a trail of gasoline which blows up the car.

And the whole reason she kills him is because she's called this word. It's B.S. to the Nth Degree. This woman shows a very okay demeanor for the most part, but one word makes her indulge her killer (I Guess) by giving everybody a dumb, unoriginal ending and kills the guy. I hated the guy too, but I wouldn't have killed him. I'd have left him for the police. They'd know what to do. It was a cop-out ending that left me unsatisfied.

I don't know for 2nd place. Juno, I guess. I felt like I wanted more, I guess.

People complaining about Aliens in Indiana Jones must have been watching a different movie series then I had watched over the years.

First movie.. the Ark of the Covenant.. a box with magical spirits inside that melts peoples face who DARE to witness their pure spiritual awesomeness..

Second Movie.. A real voodoo doll, not the mention the whole human sacrifice deal, and all other sorts of horrid crazy sci-fi fantasy hocus pocus.

Third movie.. The Holy Grail.. a magical spirit cup that you fill with magical spirit water, and then the spirit water will turn you into a dead old man unless you happened to pick the right magical spirit cup to drink the spirit water with.. Not the mention the fact that we're supposed to believe that the guardian is thousands of years old.

Then take a look at the fourth movie. Yes, those skulls don't quite look like the real crystal skulls, but the aliens angle is an old one when it comes to crystal skulls, and many people believe that aliens did create them (I'm not in that group), but aliens didn't come out of left field. I thought Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was well within the scope of indiana jones. Shia The Beef can fuck right off, but the movie itself wasn't bad. It did have some pretty stupid things in it, but least of all was the aliens.

I didn't like the ending for I Am Legend. Didn't like the alternate ending in the dvd set either. I understood why it fit with the movie but the entire time I couldn't just help thinking why he didn't just toss the nade at the plexi and run into the little safe room.

I don't know if anyone mentioned "Knowing" yet, but that was the worst ending I've ever seen.

EDIT: I guess I should have looked up.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, I like the movie but the ending was awful.
Oh, but... it has a heavy handed metaphor! Of washing away time!

As soon as I noticed that hurricane Katrina was in the background, I knew it was going to be lame. And I know the metaphor of the clock and the current is supposed to... well, be a metaphor, but all I thought was "Why in the hell is the Grand Central Station clock in fucking Louisiana?"

At the end of Transformers I felt like nothing at all had happened during the movie.
That's exactly how I felt, and continue to feel... I sat, wondering, "Why did I just spend ~90 minutes of watching complete stupid?" And then I said that to my friends, and had the following conversation:

Me: That movie sucked.
Friend: It was awesome!
Me: Why? The dialogue was bland, the plot pointless, the action unintelligible, the characters completely pointless as they're killed five minutes after being characterized via "lawlz, why is you specialz?", and... just... agh! That was terrible.
Friend: But it has a hot chick in it... with an Australian accent.
Me: And that makes a good movie?
Friend: Yes.

Apparently the magical power of bewbs undermines all of cinematography.

EDIT: Oh God, the ending for The Fog (2005 remake).

The fog? It's actually ghosts! But not just any ghosts - ghosts related to the main character! And what is this young leading lass to do but to MAKE OUT with the ghost's leader. She's not only sticking her tongue in an incorporeal mouth, but that of an old man, and that of her great-great-grandfather, thus being the first woman to commit incest with a non-physical being. But, satisfied, the lead ghost (who is a pirate, yarrrg) calls it all off, leaves the island alone, and all is saved.

I laughed during that whole movie. That was not scary at ALL xD

I Am Legend. Although, that wasn't quite so out of the blue as the others that have been mentioned, since the whole thing just went downhill in about the 3rd half. Still a bullshitty ending, though.
Yeah, but the whole movie made a absolute mockery of the book...
The title I Am Legend doesn't even make any sense without the book's ending.

that is my biggest complaint with the I am Legend movie.

Why is it even called that if it's not going to tap into the meaning of the name...
