Biggest glitch was when I was fighting a losing siege battle on Medieval 2 Total War when my ballista towers started firing cannons. Most useful glitch evar!

*EDIT* Gunpowder wasn't discovered so it was a glitch.
Hehe, i remember using that to wtfpwn the mongols. After their ram got broken, all their horse archers just sat there getting shot to bits.

I found that in Battlefeild: Bad Company 2 - Electric Boogaloo, using the M95 rifle in campaign mode turned the game from an FPS to a First Person Point and Click Adventure.

Also once on TES IV : Oblivion, i jumped down into the waterway in the Imperial Sewer. My charachter proceded to punch his way through the mudcrab and through the Impeial masonry below. I found myslef swimming around under the map in some misty gray lake with about four guards running around above me. Quite surreal.

Probably the 6 times Fallout 3's GotY edition has crashed my goddamn system when I shot someone.
Lucky.
My GOTY Fallout 3 freezes on one frame every now and then, and while I can keep going (I can hear my character moving and shooting... and enemies as well), I can't see what the hell is going on. The only way to end this bullshit is to hit "esc" which makes the game crash when this glitch occurs. It happens with or without mods, so I have no idea what the hell is going on. Forced me to uninstall the damn game. Oh well.
I agree. Fallout 3 GOTY crashes and freezes so much it's beyond a joke.

On splinter cell 1 at the begining of the last level you have to climb along a wall, this includes going around corners whilst hanging off a ledge. Guess what my game didn't have the code for. So I've never been able to complete splinter cell.

maybe this isn't a glitch, but in halo 2 co-op, me and a friend used to clear all the enemies out of an outdoor area, go stand in a corner, and kill each other over and over again. every time u die, you would drop 2 grenades. eventually, we would both stand in the waist-high pile of explosives, toss a grenade at the ground, and get catapulted straight out of the level into this weird grey sea that surrounded the invisible walls. sometimes we would force sgt. johnson into it and make him fly, too.

good times...

hehe, the missingno. obviously from pokemon red and blue.

Oblivion, if you walk far enough away when in the evil lava realms, you eventually get past all the lava and its just these ground coloured flat/thin platforms... careful though, if you fall down from one to another, you can end up underwater, which can suddenly change to being lava... that and falling down means you can never get back up.
another oblivion one, i was climbing the dragon of akatosh, you know, the statue that sticks out at the end of the game. but you can only climb it from the outside of the building and you really shouldn't be able to do that (so if you fall off it, past the broken roof of the temple, you can't get out). in order to jump higher and run faster, i wore the gray fox's cowl and used a feather spell. the guards noticed me and started chasing around the temple perimeter. i had just jumped onto its head when the game paused a moment and suddenly i heard a voice "you're the gray fox! you're wanted for all sorts of things"... somehow, a guard had glitched up to the top of its head as well! i laughed and saved the game as a seperate slot), hit the guard off with my sword and then loaded it again. this time (and every time i load the game) the guard instead begins to punch me, as opposed to drawing his sword XD its my second favourite oblivion save, just this epic fist battle with a guard on-top of the akatosh dragon statue :p
my favourite oblivion save isn't a glitch, but its where i am level 20, have completed the game in every way possible and i was in the archsage's (of the mages guild) room (i.e. my room). there i had dropped every single item i could drop, including all the keys, and equipped a spell with a massive blast range. i just cast it and its bound to hit something that is falling XD I love blast ranges on that game.

ah, another oblivion glitch i love is the one with springheel jacks shoes. i unequipped them so that they didn't break, and survived the fall. then i re-equipped them and completed the quest. i got sent to prison at one point (to complete another quest i think) and they got taken off me. when i got them back i couldn't put them back on, but kept the acrobatics boost you get from wearing them! so i could wear armoured boots but still jump that little higher.

and thats all i can think of at the moment...

oh, i remembered doing something like that too!!! :p
me and my friend also always tried to keep the warthogs throughout one of the levels (where you are dropped off on a beach... but there are loads of levels like that sooo....) and we had to throw grenades to get it through narrow corridoors and things XD

i also enjoyed getting a ghost onto the scarab on Halo 2 :p good times

Well for me a one of the worst glitches I've had were in Assassins Creed. The game froze at several points in the map. I had to switch of the console and start again.
The worst has to be though in a game called Driver (I think) where you could at times fall though the road and end up in a world of endless sky and skyline, very odd.

Wow. Owned Hi-scores for sure :p ?

One annoying glitch was when I was playing Pirates of the Caribbean on PS3, it froze and constantly played the same few notes of backing music over and over and over everytime I got to the same place...
lol most deffinately dude... i think i had like 650 million or something rediculous like that by the end of it all... lol didnt mention that i took off for about 15 minutes to find a drink!

Biggest SINGLE glitch? Glitch City in Pokemon Red and Blue. It's quite a laugh, as the city is literally one big glitch. I forget how to get to it, and my friends tricked me into going there without a pokemon that knew fly so I had to restart my game, but it's sitll rather fun.

But the glitchiest game I've played is Fallout 3. It's a ton of fun, no doubt, but full to the gills with glitches.

And you know what the best part is?
That fucking glitch happened every 5 minutes. Without fail.
Making the game completely unplayable.

Bethesda... please make your games more stable in the future.
In fact... here's an idea... instead of using the same engine for Fallout: New Vegas. Why not just get a license for the Assassin's Creed engine. You'll probably get better view distance and detail in the landscapes, and much better stability.

I had a funny one where I summoned a demora in Oblivion and one of the guards started having a conversation with it. It went like this:

Guard: Good morning
demora: I BANISH YOU!!!!!
Guard: hmm, intresting
demora: BURST BLOODSACK!!!!
