I still don't get how that works.
Well obviously that building was lich and that little bit of fence was it's phylactery and destroying it made the lich lose it's anchor and destroy itself. Duh. :)
Those level designer really are lazy, patching their load bearing wall with some wooden fence

Gah, what game was it... it was an old game for the GBA... something with Dragonball Z...

I forget the name of the game, but you had the power to fly around in that game, and if something hit you with a ki blast, you landed and for some reason became 100% invincible (repeatable). Made boss fights very easy if you didn't feel like a challenge.

Also, in SSBM, an apple exploded when it flew out of the tree in Dream Land. I have no idea if it's even a glitch (it is Smash Bros, after all), but sure made me and a friend laugh.

The big fatal glitch in the Elder Scrolls IV: After playing a single character for around 150-200 hours the game animations begin to slow down, eventually to the point where it becomes unplayable.

Biggest glitch? Probably Fallout 3, just in general. But thats why I love it, theres something new every day
I second this, without the glitches the game would be no way near as fun.

Space station silicon valley for the n64. You spend weeks collecting all these insanely well hidden golden animal thingies, and then you finally find the last one...

and walk straight through it.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, unpatched. After saving some bloke from devout christian vampire hunters, the game crashes.

FUN!

Alot of times in Saints Row 2, including a car that when I crashed accidentilly, the car randomly lifted it's tail end until it was sticking straight off the ground. I was still in it, I didn't fly off, and I could get in and out of it easily.

THe second and most frustrating was when I sunk in the ground in a SR2 Multiplayer Team Gangsta Brawl on the map Lost Island. I swear I suddenly started to swim, and I couldn't get out of the water.and I started to swim *under* the island. Odd, it was.

Several games I've suddenly appeared below the level and fallen to my death, but all these are dwarfed by the absolute greatest glitch (which was brought on actually by disc scratch) that would make any gamer fume with anger.

I beat FF Tactics on the PS1, and sat back to watch the ending, right as the very last cutscene is playing (not the big explanation, but rather the two main characters riding away on chocobos) the game freezes. I literally couldn't think for a few minutes. This was a game that took weeks to play and a simple scratch stopped me dead.

Stalker's physics engine bugs out and causes people to splatter all over the place sometimes.

I've only encountered glitches in demos so when I played Infamous I used a shock bomb on a reaper and it was continuously flailing in mid-air like it was flying away but at least it was registered as live capture so I could continue.

The only other glitches I've encountered and tried are ones for SSBB long ago. The Jigglypuff and Ike ones are especially my favorites.

Crysis warhead, I was playing and then fell through the ground and died, so I reloaded the last save and walked past that part again, I've always wandered what it is like to be inside the sky box... My character fell a bit through the ground and then rocketed through the sky like superman out of a weed factory. When I hit the ground I was ok and killed a korean so it went well.

Falling through the carrier deck and stairs consistently in Crysis due to having physics settings too low.

Besides typical crashes and bugs, I'd say the goodie I discovered on Road Rash 2 for the Sega Genesis.

If you knocked a cop off of his bike then immediately crashed yourself, you could walk back to where the cop was, see their lifeless body in the middle of the road, keep walking backwards and your crashed bike would float towards you until it was beyond the threshold of where the dead cop lay. You could then get back on your bike and run over the dead cop which would ramp you up into the air.

I once played a really old game about Donald Duck I think, at one part you gotta defeat a huge guy and jump onto his belly to get onto a ladder you can't reach otherwise. Once I jumped onto him, my character just dissapeared but I could see his shadow on the floor, so I guessed he was invisible. It turned out he was under the floor, and the cameras were stationary like in the first few RE games.

One of the ones that sticks out in my mind was from the old adventure game "The Adventures of Willy Beamish" for the Sega CD. There was a part where you had to scare this cook and have her jump up and get stuck in a big cooking cauldron. For whatever reason, when the cook was to be startled, the game would freeze and the disc would stop spinning. It was annoying as hell because you couldn't progress in the game unless you did that. I had to play the game again later on the regular PC without all the CD extras (full speech, better animation) and I got past that part but then I couldn't get past the "final boss" because the hit detection was off or something. Maybe I should try and unearth the game from the internet and finally beat it, or maybe I should beat all the other games taking up space on my HDD and book case...
