Bastard even makes his death slightly unsatisfying, since the moment his sister finally snaps and kills him during a rape attempt also leads to her wondering why she never thought of that, and going violently psychotic.
I fucking hate that guy. I hate his male-pattern baldness. I hate his annoying stereotypical scientist voice. I hate the fact that he never takes off his labcoat. I hate how he can't work a teleporter for shit. He's a travesty of a character and I wished his pet headcrab, Lamar, raped his face.

I find that royalty characters (besides the one off one that's actually, y'know. Sympathetic and such to the cause) tend to be asses. They're all, superior, and the like.

Here`s a handy tip for the next time you play , forget that quest and head for rivet city and doctor lee (i think that was her name) and thus bypass the quest

I played No Mercy. Once. During that play, the AI Director pulled the mother of all dick moves.
I was on Normal, and I had gotten to the elevator. But, there was a WITCH right in front of the thing! A WITCH! On Normal! The AI Director shouldn't pull such a dick move on Normal!
FEAR's developers wanted a whiny, sleazy, backstabbing, pathetic, irritating douchebag of a character to give you side missions, and they got one. Did we have to share the experience?
Also, I agree with everyone suggesting Fontaine. After Atlas's death and "the big twist wooo!" the game's plot devolved into bollocks (seriously, it's like M. Night Shyamalan played a load of JRPGs or something for four days straight and wrote down his resulting fevered dreams) and the one likeable character devolved into an asshole with a really annoying voice.
