Finally beating "One Shot, One Kill" on Veteran (COD 4.) I was extatic when I finally beat that level, the last one I had to beat on Veteran (except for Mile High Club, which I doubt I'll ever have the patience to accomplish.) Of course, I did it when I was one bullet from death, too (just like when I beat it on Hardened.)

Getting Silent assassin all the way through Hitman Contracts. Blood money is a comparative cakewalk.

Runner up would have to be finishing Far Cry (PC mind you) on anything harder than normal.

In FarCry 2, from a half-mile away, I sniped 1. the driver of the convoy truck in the head, while he was driving through a checkpoint, 2. the convoy guards, 3. all the guys at the checkpoint. I used a Dragunov, and I counted 17 dead. None of them got within a quarter mile of me, and they never fired a shot, since they had no idea where I was.

just this evening I got my first hat in TF2 what makes this special is everyone I know had at least one weeks before me and I actually crafted it through blind luck (I was seeing what the highest level of metal was) and the cherry on top was that it's a hat for my favorite class the Spy. I feel happy.

For me, pretty much anytime i beat Seth in Street Fighter IV, even on easy...I'm just glad to know it wasn't just me that sucked, all my friends had issues too. That boss was just too cheesy. And 2 5 on 5 Deathmatches I had in Uncharted 2. One match (more recent) I had 21 kills of 50, and the ranks of everyone else wasn't too bad of a spread, it was relatively even. Another match I had a few months ago, 3 vs 5 death match and I was on the team with the 3. 2 people on my team ended up quitting or something who knows, but I carried that team and got 23/50 kills, highest anyone else got on either team was like...10. I was pretty proud of myself...

God Of War the God difficulty mainly the part against Ares. Took me a hundred something tries.

The 21 mile high club on Vet was really effing hard too but the satisfaction is worth it!!

The day I beat Contra, I remember tearing up. Then my cousin busted out rum and we went to a party.

I considered that as a victory party

Definitely the time it was me vs 6 others in MGO Survival and I kicked their collective asses by actually being (gasp!) STEALTHY.

a local Fear 2 tourament thing, it was so much OMG i won.... more like i am fucking awesome :)
But my proudest victory has to be beating the one of the later bosses on the original Neverwinter Nights on the hardest difficulty. Cant remember the name but i took me ages and many health potions.

The only other one i can think of is beating the original Farcry on it hardest difficulty. Dam their teloscopic vision......

On Modern Warfare 2 on team deathmatch. I threw a knife almost straight up into the air, knowing one day it must come down on some poor sod's head. It did. And it was the game winning kill. So the whole side of the screen was filled with "holy shit" and "lol". Hehe.
A video of someone doing that made the rounds on youtube - was that you?

The 2 headshots with one bullet challenge - definite sense of accomplishment/luck.

Probably completing Golden Sun 2 for the 1st time - the final boss had a habit of beating me within 5 minutes of the start of the battle. Then it devolved into the typical JRPG half hour battle with most of the time spent reviving party members. Winning came as something of a surprise!

[small] Or in real life, sprinting 100m in under 12.5 seconds. Not bad for an asthmatic![/small]

Your criteria for this discussion are rather confusing, but the three events which made me go "OMG I WON" were:

1) Beating Gades, Master of Destruction during the first encounter with him [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ghoYAYfHMY&feature=related] in Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. This was because it's a Hopeless Boss Fight [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HopelessBossFight] and I had actually rung the Nintendo Hotline (this was the days before GameFAQS) to ask if it was even possible to win at all- and they told me that it wasn't! I perservered anyway, level ground up enough to even be able to SURVIVE against him and after half an hour of desperate struggle I was just starting to give up hope when he went down, leaving me in raptures of triumph.

2) Beating "The Beast and the Harlot" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlGPWcmdkZ4] in Guitar Hero 2 on Expert. This was because it was only the second time I'd tried it and I was only trying it again to show my brother (who'd come around to visit) how insanely hard it was and how I'd "never be able to beat it". Imagine my shock when I reached the end of the song with my life bar intact! It was at this moment that I realised that if I tried hard enough, I could beat ANYTHING

3) Beating "SO DEEP (Perfect Sphere Remix)" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LPilySWJic&feature=related] in DDR MAX on Heavy. This was before Guitar Hero came along and this song was just ankle-breakingly difficult. I was half way through it and already exhausted, my concentration slipping and my feet aching, when I fell into a kind of trance state and my body just took over from my mind. 30 seconds later I woke up and realised that I'd beaten the song. Then I had to go have a lie down and recover. Not even beating MAX 300 lived up to that win.

The Revenge Of Shinobi, if you've played it...you know what I'm saying.
Too easy to get infinite lives tho.

Once you do that, getting the score needed to get unlimited Megiddo techniques is a snap.

Mine would have to be finding all of the Riddler's riddles and doing the whole Spirit of Arkham thing without using a guide or the internet. Just complete and utter pigheaded tenacity. And getting Big Brass Balls in Bioshock 2 on Hard.
