You got to battle Al Mulaim, it turns out that the Piece of Eden gives him magical powers to bring back all your assassinated targets and to make seven of himself. Then when you beat your old master, you use the item to reveal a holographic map of the earth.

Was that a WTF moment when you first heard it and believed it? because technically it's not true, that whole thing was one big lie.

totally agree. getting into ryan's office for the first time was amazing.

not really a twist, but i liked when one of your main characters, the marine, dies in CoD4.

Old PC game Sanitarium. There's a level where your playing hide and seek with all these little kids and if you find them all you get clues or your next objective whatever it was. Anyway turns out the last kid you have to find is actually dead. And you have to exhume his body to stop the voices and save him. That game was FANTASTIC till you got towards the end. then it got pretty lame pretty fast.

Fallout 3 when you figure out who Eden is, where you were born, and the ending.

These were all awesome. One terrible one that comes to mind is absolutely everything in Assassin's Creed.
