Why can't femshep just date Joker? he's funny, he's useful, he has an actual backstory and flaws that make him more awesome.
Aside from the fact that she will crush his pelvis every time they have sex?
Ever heard of the doggy position? Or ANY position where the guy is on top or over the girl?XD If he can walk and climb without shattering he can have sex (gently)

....I'm a girl and I have absolutely no problem with any of the male romance options in Bioware's games (well I don't really care much for Kaiden or Jacob in the ME games, but everyone else is fine).

I personally wuv Garrus :D *annoying fangirl squeel*

....I'm not sure I can picture femshep in any kind of submissive sexual position, or any kind involving the word (gentle). Also, idk what kind of sex you've been having, but just based on my experience, I can't think of anything that wouldn't end with Joker on a stretcher

And yes you could KILL Tali sorry but it's true. The fact that people think thats okay while a romance with Joker isn't is just totally lol.
Joker is already in a relationship with EDI.
And EDI can be calibrated so that she won't break him! Match made in heaven!
Why do people have such a prejudice against disabled people having a relationship? It's kind of awful.
You really need to get a sense of humor, pal.
Just kind of sick of people coming out with that excuse like it isn't completely offensive that's all.
You need to lighten up and get a clue.

Sex is the pay off for a relationship in a game.
Funny how the Sebastion one still works then without sex... *gasp*

As MaleShep, Jack all the way. My borderline-psychotic renegade Adept and Jack are best friends for all eternity. All they care about is each other, and ripping people to shreds with their minds. <3

As FemShep, I like to play as someone who's kind of timid outside of battle, or situations she can compare to battle, like Tali's trial. My FemShep also has PTSD. She's just waiting for the right time to ask out Joker, but is sad recently because of his apparent relationship with EDI. But as far as my FemShep is concerned, EDI can join right in. She wouldn't mind too much.

I think its all to subjective to tell, I liked Kaidan, Thane was cool, and I like Anders and Alistair. Its just the way it is, some people like companion A, others, companion B.

Dammit BloatedGuppy! I was trying to eat pizza when I read this and ending up choking because I was laughing so hard.

EDIT: When given the choice though, we could not leave Alenko in the nuclear dust fast enough,

This might seem kind of a strange thing to complain about, because I'm not actually a woman (it's true!), but what the HELL, Bioware, is up with these romantic leads for women in your games? They're intolerable. Male Shepards and Wardens and Hawkes have a panoply of riches to choose from. But women?

Alistair is the cream of the crop because his simpering is occasionally amusing, but he's a polarizing character who is deeply loathed by half the player base. Zhevran is a font of venereal disease and looks like an escapee from the cast of Jersey Shore. Fenris wandered in from a questionable anime and clearly has some manner of magical leprosy. Sebastian is a prim, bloodless bible thumper. And the less said about Anders the better.

Can we talk about Mage rights again?

Then we can move along to Mass Effect, where we have the unbearably fabulous Kaidan Alenko, who is almost certainly a moldering corpse on the surface of Virmire because Ashley is so goddam indispensable. Thane, the utterly demoralizing and downbeat frog-man with his acid flashbacks and relentless fatalism. The entirely awesome Garrus, who is nevertheless a scaly and crusted anthropomorphic lizard and thus unlikely to bestir many hearts. Leaving us with Jacob, and was there ever a duller romantic lead than Jacob Taylor? They wasted so many development resources detailing his improbable pectorals they forgot to program him up a personality.

Can we hurry this up? I have an Old Spice Commercial to shoot in half an hour.

And of course, those of you old enough to remember Baldur's Gate 2 will recall that male heroes had their choice of three lively and vivacious companions, and female heroes were stuck with Anomen fucking Delyrn. A man distinguishable solely by the fact he had the most punchable face in the history of gaming. Just look at him, and tell me you don't want to punch the HELL out of him.

Right in his smug face.

And the dialogue...oh lord, the dialogue. The droopy, sappy declarations of love. The bizarrely animated nocturnal fumblings. Shepard and Hawke, acting like sexual harassment lawsuits waiting to happen instead of flirting like normal human beings. It's all so EXCRUCIATING.

So please, Bioware, throw the Femhawkes and Femsheps a frickin' bone, will you? Where's their Morrigan? Or Ashley? Or Tali? or Jack? Or Miranda? Or Merrill? Why do guys have a range of at least moderately interesting stock personality types to choose from, and girls get a choice of Blandy McBlanderson, Repulsive Alien, Raging Metrosexual, or Epic Douchebag? Surely you can't expect ALL of them to become lesbians just to avoid weeping quietly into their pillows at the compromises they have to make to get that romance achievement?
Don't you dare complain about getting crappy romances when you get Garrus, as an option. DON'T YOU DARE!!!

1.His face does look very punchable.

2.What if bioware are trying to turn femsheps and femhawks into lesbos by giving them lame guys to choose from?

3.it is very one sided. male shep gets miranda (dat ass) ashley (still hot) tali (sexy nerd) jack (total dom) or Liara (pure hawtness).

Femshep only gets jacob (meh...) thane (srsly?) kaiden (more yawn) or garrus (he's cool as a friend but i don't see how it would work if you tried to do it.) Why can't femshep just date Joker? he's funny, he's useful, he has an actual backstory and flaws that make him more awesome. maybe bioware is just trying to be PC by putting a "play as a girl" option. idk.
You know I actually did wonder if I could have a relationship with Joker since Kaiden and his pointy nipples scare me. :< At least Joker makes me laugh and isn't one of the whiny victim handicapped people I have to listen to all the time.

Alister wasn't that bad and in fact I loved him and cried when he ran off to kill the darkspawn without me (I'm still pissed at him for that). Zhevran was nicely put together and I enjoyed him talking, but I just don't do manwhores. His little sex scene was deeply amusing to me. Position after position, it went on forever so you got to give the guy some credit for stamina.

I can't say too much about the guys in the second games since I have either barely played them or haven't started yet. But Bioware looks like their kind of getting the idea of what women want. They probably have very good ideas expect they can't stop fapping to the females the create. :<

Oh shit, Anomen! His personality was even more punchable than his face. I wish there was some way to give kudos to people who make great threads, because this is the best thing I've read all day

Oddly enough to go back to the Baldur's Gate bit, I enjoyed Anomen's romance cause by the time you finished you removed the stick from his ass and he became a lot more interesting and enjoyable ot have around.

Speaking as a woman, I would have rather them just actually given us Morrigan, Ashley, Tali, Jack, and Miranda. They already gave us both Merrill and Isabella in DA2. And as for DA:O, Alistair was just fine. ME2 though, I had to wait until a DLC to get Liara back though.

Though I guess they could afford to throw the straight girls out there a bone...

That said, while I'm far from straight? I totally loved Garrus, alien or not, he was sexy in his own way.

So you're not accepting Garrus as a romantic option because you don't get how it would work, but Tali's okay? Tali... a woman who can't removed her suit or face mask. You can see Garrus' face, and I'm pretty he can remove his suit.
