Hmmm... If she was a bit less over the top I'd be in, but what the hell, I need more amoral violent team members. Wrex alone doesn't cut it.

Yes, I agree. This is beginning to seem a lot more like Saint's Row in space than the professionalism I saw in the first game. I can't see how all of that would have vanished more or less overnight.

Plus honestly, I haven't been following the game religiously (though I'll get it) but I can't help but wonder WTF happened to Wrex? Why do we need Grunt, I liked Wrex just fine.
ahh, but Wrex may or may not have died before the raid on saren's lab
you cant kill someone and then bring them back a few years later
That's why ME2 works off your savegame from ME1.

They said Shephard's new crew was like the galaxy's Dirty Dozen, but I hope they do something like 4 Renegades, 4 Paragons, and 4 in-between. I've seen the picture of the possible Quarian teammate (the one with the purple hood). I sincerely hope she's one of the Paragons, since I'm looking forward to taking a Quarian with me, as they were my favourite race in the game, although you saw exactly ONE of them. Tali was the best squad member ever. Maxed out hacking and maxed out shotgun is great.

Subject Zero seems out of place, even for renegade characters... though, Commander Shepard did get pretty silly once you started using those lower options.

What the hell is wrong with you, bioware?
Yeah, this sounds a bit ridiculous, scrapping original characters and making everyone a violent psychopath... it's the character that makes it interesting, not the psychoticness.

If there are 3 psychos in this there better be 20+ guys to join your squad.
Pause the video at 0:12. It looks like there are ten squadies.
As said above, I believe there will be either 11 or 12, since they were calling it "The Galaxy's Dirty Dozen"

The only confirmed squadmate from ME 1 that will also be a squadmate in ME 2 has been Tali so far.
Yessssssssssssssssss.
Me and my love for Tali's fine arse thank you.
Well, I mostly love her accent and demeanour, but anyone who loves Tali is fine in my book.
And I second your Yessssssssssssssssss

Subject Zero?

Okay, they seriously couldn't come up with a better name? Who the hell calls themselves something like that? Where would you even get that name from?

I'll stick with my old squadmates.

Indeed. I mean, she stands like a pregnant woman (with the waist pushed forward) and it still looks great. No one's accomplished that before.

and if you play through more than once? i used each shepard I made at least twice for different outcomes, letting each human die and only sparing wrex the 1st time. you're move

What the hell is wrong with you, bioware?
Why is there no-one for us paragons?
On the other hand, none of the team from ME1 were all that evil/bad. Wrex was badass, but still a "good" guy, so maybe it's part of their new darker theme.

I guess that might be what they are going for.

But something about having a bunch of psychopaths save the galaxy seems a bit strange.

I can see the advertisements already - "Mass Effect 2: More trenchcoats than a Burberry outlet store."
A trench coat with a vest-shield thingy? Score!

Not the galaxy, just humanity. Human worlds are dissapearing (whatever that means) so it's just us they are fighting to save.
I'm guessing their job prospects were poor.

Yeah, and it's fireproof, so when you walk out of the building that you firebombed and you are all backlit and silhouetted with the flames, your trenchcoat won't be all singed.

It looks like they stole the character model and demeanor from Saints Row 2.
It's an old trope, this character was made from cardboard and stuck together with copy pasta.

So guess who is not even getting recruited to my team? I'll presonally shoot her in the face myself if it comes to it. Any of my three Shepards could toss her ass out into space, hands tied behind their back.

I don't mind murderous psychopaths....but they've got to either be unique, or slightly more sophisticated about it - not crazy-ass psycho template #3.
