Well, I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures. If the Reapers really are coming in ME2, Shepard will need all the help he can get, possible psychopathy of his new recruits aside.Internet Kraken said:I guess that might be what they are going for.Knight Templar said:Why is there no-one for us paragons?Leika said:"extremely violent" - Subject Zero.
"Irrationally violent" - Grunt.
"hyper-violent" - Thane.
What the hell is wrong with you, bioware?
On the other hand, none of the team from ME1 were all that evil/bad. Wrex was badass, but still a "good" guy, so maybe it's part of their new darker theme.
But something about having a bunch of psychopaths save the galaxy seems a bit strange.
This is why I'm sticking with my usual squad, at least for my main character. Tali and Wrex form the best duo in my opinion, they kind of even each other out, like devil and angel on my shoulder bickering with each other what to do.Malygris said:I have no doubt that they're handy in a fight but not every Commander Shepard in the great, wide multiverse is going to want to resolve every dilemma he meets by shooting people in the face.

Me and my love for Tali's fine arse thank you.

This is beginning to seem a lot more like Saint's Row in space than the professionalism I saw in the first game. I can't see how all of that would have vanished more or less overnight.
Plus honestly, I haven't been following the game religiously (though I'll get it) but I can't help but wonder WTF happened to Wrex? Why do we need Grunt, I liked Wrex just fine.
you cant kill someone and then bring them back a few years later
They said Shephard's new crew was like the galaxy's Dirty Dozen, but I hope they do something like 4 Renegades, 4 Paragons, and 4 in-between. I've seen the picture of the possible Quarian teammate (the one with the purple hood). I sincerely hope she's one of the Paragons, since I'm looking forward to taking a Quarian with me, as they were my favourite race in the game, although you saw exactly ONE of them. Tali was the best squad member ever. Maxed out hacking and maxed out shotgun is great.
I guess, but I still don't understand why someone who is "dangerous, powerful and extremely violent" would be "exactly what I am looking for". That makes it sound like Shepard is going out of his/her way to have a psychopath on his squad.The_Oracle said:Well, I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures. Then again, Shepard isn't exactly known for his/her brilliant decisions.

"Now who's the badass biotic, *****?"
So she doesn't describe herself as a *****.

Also she looks like crap and I intent to never use her.
We're still not entirely sure, seeing as it was blown up, but inside the lab you can see row after row of what look like cloning tanks, that plus the fact that the person in charge of the lab, a Krogan, was knee-deep in Husk research means that maybe the 'solution' Saren has to the genophage isn't that benevolent.Internet Kraken said:Clashero said:"I'M TOTALLY GONNA BLOW UP THAT LAB THAT COULD SAVE A SPECIES FROM EXTINCTION!"
This confused me. Why did I have to blow up the lab? Why couldn't I gather the data from the research and give it to the Council? It just felt weird.
