Bleeding

I don't tend to have much of a reaction. After I yelp from the pain or whatever, it's pretty much whatever. I acknowledge that I'm bleeding and that's it.

Not sure I've ever bled in really large quantities. I'm pretty sure if I did, I'd be a little freaked. Maybe.

Usually perplexed. "Where is this coming from? How did that happen?" is my usual response to such things. If it's interesting, I make up a story for it to tell people. If it's not, then I just let it go. And of course, if it's bad enough, I tend to it, but at that point I should realize how it got there.

I've never been bothered by my own blood...the act of bleeding isn't actually painful. Seeing others bleed concerns me though.

I'm very bad around actual injuries though, be it my own dislocations or anyone's broken bones both in real life and on t.v.

Complete indifference. I try to staunch the blood so it doesn't get anywhere if I'm bleeding with some severity, but otherwise I don't care. I clean the area, put some TAO on it, cover it with whatever is the appropriate bandage and go on.

I'm usually annoyed by a small amount of blood because I would either have to clean it up, or try and stop the bleeding. But this one time I had a massive nosebleed that wouldn't stop for like 20 mins. That was scary for me considering Ive never had a nosebleed before.

I fine with just about any amount of blood, what really bothers me is the spurting. I could deal with a pool of blood, but when it starts to actively gush out of a wound then I get squeamish.

If its not very painful I find blood really fascinating, I kind of just stare at it. Its so red and warm...

Any association with blood does not affect me at all. I've had multiple wounds and moderate cuts on my body before, but the sight of blood doesn't make me cringe or pass out.

I never understood certain people's fear of seeing blood. I mean, it's inside of all of us. What difference does it make?

After having a nose bleed that took two hours and an entire box of kleenex AND some paper towel to stop, I don't look at blood loss with too much worry, but I never really did either, I used to get nose bleeds all the time ("whoop one degree pressure change *nose bleed*" etc etc) soooo I guess I never reacted much more than "oh... I'm bleeding"

I get annoyed because I know that blood seems to get EVERYWHERE, even when you are trying to be careful. It probably hurts, yes, but I need to stop the bleeding. Luckily , I've never sustained a major injury that caused a large amount of blood loss.

My Husband, however, gets fairly light-headed. Even when he's getting his blood drawn for testing for his hypoglycemia. He nearly fainted once. He doesn't even know why it happens. He killed his own cows and deer back home. Killing them, gutting them and the like. But when he sees his own blood, he just gets all weird.

I hate bleeding a lot. Even a small bit makes me feel slightly paniced. However, I don't care so much when I get nose bleeds.

i used to be fine with my own blood but then having nearly lost it all (not by my own fault i got attacked by a rather large dog) it makes me feel rather ill, but might i also add coming from england and having the worst A&E department in the country i had to wait for an hour with my arm in a bucked until a doctor was free to stitch me back together again

It doesn't really faze me. I worked in a hospital (as a physio) and so saw a fair amount of blood and other really nasty stuff.

I scrubbed up more than a few times and knee replacements are great to watch - it's really more like carpentry than anything else, they use a guide and just start sawing.

I'm incredibly casual and laid back when it comes to blood, it doesn't even phase me.

Most blood I've seen in real life was when I was younger and fell onto a nail that was sticking straight up, which stabbed right through my hand. It was running all over the place, and I just casually walked over as blood was out of my hand onto the ground and all over my arm, wrapped it up thoroughly with a towel and told my parents so we went to the doctor within the next day or so and I had to get a tetanus shot.

I also have a habit of staring straight at the tube when the doctor's take blood from me. Again, doesn't phase me.

The only thing related to the subject that bothers me is sharp knives which I feel uncomfortable being near, especially scalpels. I prefer to keep my organs inside my body.

In small quantity, nothing except to wipe it away and hide it so people dont freak out.

When its in larger quantity I like to think of it as a badge of honor for doing something good.

Then of course, there's the family motto. No blood no tears.

which then gets followed up by the next motto: crying's not going to do a damn thing about it.

I have different reactions depending on mood/location.
I usually have a mild interest in blood, almost a morbid curiosity
If i'm in bed or something like that, I hate blood because it might get over everything.
