There are plenty of better developers than Bungie, they are good however. Kotick obviously doesn't know what talent even is.

I don't think he 1) knows what independant developer means, or 2) plays games at all.

You don't get it! He's a game " ENTHUSIAST ". He obviously LOVES games in all forms, and wants to see it grow as a medium.

Well that removes any lingering doubt that Kotick is a massive idoit and troll who has no business sense of any kind. I garentee he got his posistion through nepotism, just like admiral Mickey.

It's not that his business sense is bad, because it isn't, but that he cares to appeal to the larger audience of people who play casual games, rather than the smaller sect of hardcore gamers. What he's doing may seem dumb and insulting, but activision's stock isn't exactly low.

I'm pretty sure it means a development team with roughly 4 or less people.

Indie refers to lack of a publisher or studio. For instance, gearbox is not signed to a major publisher like EA or activision, and, therefore, is an indie developer
