what year does murder become socially acceptable as a hobby?
That would be whenever I become ruler of the world. So next week, assuming nothing gets in the way of my plans.
Well I suppose you'll be better than Dr. Steel, so I won't stop you. Unless YOU think the world is run by the Illuminati, alien or otherwise, then you are too stupid to be allowed to conquer the earth. And that doubles my workload.

I would have liked to have been born in the early 50s, just before all the most awesome things ever started.

I like this one, thanks.
All the previous ones had a much higher chance of killing me.
Sissy.

Sure technology and many other things weren't as good back a while ago but if my parents could live through it, so can I.

I wish I had been born on the same day holodecks became an affordable, living-room-sized residential accessory.

Seriously.

I would have wanted to be born in 2010. One step closer to living on Mars.

I have a sort of proto-nostalgia for that late 60s, early 70s period. If I could choose another part of history, that'd be it. But deep down, I'm a 21st Century guy. That's when I came of age - it's what I know. I wouldn't fit in at any other time. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm entirely on board with it. I find this century so far to be pretty damned depressing.

Maybe if I'd been born 10 years earlier. I don't know.

This. Mainly because of technology, though. Of course when I had born before, I wouldn't think the same way, but this thread is asking if I, currently, think I should've been born in another century/decade. And my answer's no.

More like born in the wrong millenium. I think I would have made a decent Viking, and even though I would probably die at 40 - if I was lucky - I think it would be a good fit for me.

BTW, all of you that would like to be vikings, do you know what a sh*tty life they had? i come from sweden, one of the countries that vikings lived. I've been to a lot of viking museums and from all that i've learned that they didn't live the life of a prince. and history channel don't know sh*t

Life in any century but the 20th and 21st would be unbelievably cruel by our pampered standards, but I wouldn't say no to a well-to-do guy during the renaissance.

If I had been born in any century other than this one, I would've died within less than a week, so I like where I am. Or maybe sometime in the future, post global unification.
