So, I guess it stays at 21 loss of sanity. Thanks for informing me Rain.

Travis's eyes open in wide, disbelieving shock as he takes in the scene before him, forgetting all about the book Jack now holds. Screaming "No!", Travis turns and runs out of the room, holding his mouth closed with both hands. Rushing up the stairs, the storage room door is thrown open.

Travis bursts into the Main Hall. Not caring for the surprised stares of those still waiting, Travis turns and bursts through the bathroom doors. Rushing, he slams open a bathroom stall and begins to horribly vomit into an open basin.

Also, what the hell is a boz?
Different sights and things do different SAN rolls. You only lose 1D6 SAN this time. Your brain isn't that screwed... yet.

To everyone. You can gain SAN by killing monsters and stuff.
In future as well, I will tell you how much you can lose beforehand. So far Toe, you're fine. You can run out but your nerves are just a bit shaken. If you get more then half of your current SAN you go temporarily insane. If you lose over 5 SAN points at once, different things happened to you kept up to me.

Sorry for not telling you all this previously but to give you every rule at once will blow your minds. So for now, Toe is still in the room with Fire and Zen. He's a little scared.

Now, to roll the d6, HURRAY!: 3

SAN is now 47, and my character did not just run away screaming like a little girl. =)

You can make an idea roll for the scene.
Idea: 70%

Roll: 85

So, what is this for exactly?

Travis stares at the scene with a look of horror. He walks over to a wall, leaning on it while fighting a feeling of nausea. Managing to keep the contents of his stomach down, he turns to find Jack rumaging through the impaled mans clothing. Carefully stepping forward, Travis picks up the crowbar lying in front of him, hefting it in his right hand. 'At least now I have a weapon to defend myself... Maybe something that could be sued to open the locked office.' he though to himself grimly as he watched the scene.

Looking at the horribly burned body, Travis pyches himself and bends down. His hands feel over the body, looking for items of interest...

OOC: So, what are the stats for my newly aquired crowbar? What did I find?

OOC: Hurray, my character doesnt go rushing through the main ahll and neither does he scream. So, dont use that as an excuse to come down.

OOC: Idea score, 35. I'm a brilliant.

Jack took a look at the keys and the pistol and then put them in his pocket. He looked up at the body hanging from the wall and the sword that kept the man there. He tried to dislodge the sword but it was stuck firmly in the wall.

"Whatever but this here was very strong... and very tall" he said looking up at the man. "And I wonder what this mans story is?" He said while looking down at the burnt body. This could be a dump site for bodies

Jack walked into the corner to look at the crime scene from a different angle.... he started to gather an idea about this crime. It looked, judging by the lack of scorch marks on the walls, man was not burnt here, he could have been alive while it happened. Did someone use this room as a place to dump these people? He heard Travis say something but payed no attention to it... And then there was the man in the wall. No normal man could have done that, it must have been atleast 2 very strong men, maybe more... but how did they get the sword in the wall like that? Prehaps this is a cult and that sword is a symbol of some kind... there are no other religous symbols in the room though. This was strange.

Dr Spencer! He must know about this, he must be responsible. He owns this place, he would know if a cult worshiped here, he would also know if the mob did things here. He must be responsible, it hurt him that his old friend would do this but he needed to learn the truth. He looked at the two men standing in the room...

OOC:pschyology roll of 70.

IC:They where distraught, affraid and possibley insane and Travis was holding a crowbar, he didn't look like a threat though. He couldn't trust them to behave rationally but there opinions mattered non the less.

"Gentleman, I think we may need to ask the good Doctor some questions about this. Chance are he knows nothing but we need to rule out any possibilities that he is behind this."

OOC:Sorry for rambling a bit, the detective process is long and drawn out.

You gather from the scene there is no burn marks anywhere else in the room (might have to edit there FD (sorry)). No scortch marks on the wall or ground. The man is terribly burned and so is his clothing. Was his body dumped here? For what perpose would that serve?

You can try to pull the sword out. with a roll of under 5. It's in pretty damn tight. Also that pistol off the guard does 1D10 damage and can be fired twice up to a range of 15yards

Serching through the hideously charred corpse you find a set of keys to Dr Huberts Office and another to his safe. The crowbar does 1D8 damage plus any addition bonus.

Frank stood in the room with the others. His shaking had stopped but the colour has not returned.

"Yeah mate.. That sounds like a plan but where the bloody hell is he?"

"Aha!" Travis exclaims as he pulls out a set of keys... then he realises the significance of his find. Staring down at the body, Travis exclaims "Professor!? No, no it cant be!". Travis stands and backs away from the presumed burned remains of... his old teacher. "Listen, you guys... I think that this burnt body is the remains of Docter Hubert Spencer" Travis says painfully as he shows them the set of keys. Turning, Travis states "I'm going upstairs to check his office out, if anyone wants to tag along be my guest." and he leaves the basement.

He exits the Store Room, the others still watching. Travis speechlessly walks past them, his face long since turned a sickly white, and ascends the stairway to the library once more. Walking, Travis begins to lose hope of actually finding a solid career boost, let alone another scandal when he finds himself in front of Spencers Office door. Taking a deep breath, Travis inserts the keys and begins to open the door...

OOC: So, what do I find inside his office?

Also, could you tell me the percentage to hit, hnd, #att and hp of my newly aquired crowbar? Not so sure about those.

Jack thought for a moment.

"You think thats the doctor. Tell you what, I'll go see if I can open his office and see if we can find any info."

He started walking up the stairs, "if you want to stay here, feel free but if you plan on leaving I advise looking the door, we let people know about this then hell will unfold and people might jump to dangerous conclusions. Keep tight lipped ok mates.

Jack walked quickly up the stairs, across the main hall, ignoring the onlookers, and into the Library. He could see the Doctors Office across the room. He walks over and watches start to try a key...

Edit:I fized what was going on, this would have been avoided if Toe said who that spoiler message was for. I thought it was for Purps.

You cant just steal from me Jack, as I was the one who recieved those keys. You can tag along, you can even keep my book (thief! =D) but dont steal from me please. >=(

Damn, looks like I didn't see that bit. Oh well I can fix it. Next time say who the spoiler box is for, I thought it was only for Purple and hence didn't read. Now lets all forget this key bussiness ever happened.

Jack tried the keys, none of them fit. "Damn" he said, looking down at the keys he saw the words "Entrance Key Only, don't use for anyother locks" printed on it. He felt like an idiot.

"Try your keys" he said to Travis, "they might work oh and here is your book back" he said while handing over the dead weight, "you can keep it."
OOC: Thank you, though you didnt need to give me the book. Oh well, I'll pass it on if I find someone with a better chance of deciphering it. =)

Oh, and thank you for realising it before I "accidently" bashed your head in. =D

You serched the guard didn't you. The keys you found were just to lock up store basically. The charred corpse had Toe's keys on them. You got a sweet gun so it evens out.

Upon unlocking the door, it opens with a eerie creak. The room opens up to a most normal sight. A desk a chair out of place. A safe on the end. One of the key's was labbeled the 'safe key'. Maybe there's some clue in his desk... or maybe the cult sign writen in crimson on the wall would be conected some how!

We won't worry about the Hp etc. The base skill to hit is 25% and it does 1D8 dm plus bonus's.

[spoiler+For the People once in the Room]Jack looked at the sign on the wall. Something odd was happening here... that body may have been the Doctor... it probably was the Doctor, he wanted to be sick but something compelled him to know what was going on.

Jack started looking through the Desk.

"Check that safe over there, it might be helpful".

Sorry for fucking everything up, but I've fixed mostly everything so we can forget any of this ever happened...

Travis's mood is not helped due to the large symbol on the wall. Staring warily into the room, Travis entered the room with Jack alongside. The inside of the Office seemed to be like Travis's old Professor so much, down to the last item on his private bookshelf. 'Enough idle obversation, its time to see whats inside the safe!' he thought in a peculiar form of excitement, and he slipped the safe key into its lock.

Turning, Travis heard a loud click, and slowly opened the safe to see its mysterious contents...

What happened?
There are a load of papers. The top ones seem to be the recent. They talk of budgeting on the trip and other minor details. Sifting through you come across Saheed's address and phone number. 23 Shiria Road 5556-2633. One last thing you uncover is a list of recent finds from Memnon.
It includes: Ancient Book, the Kitab Al-Azif. Deffinally not Egyptian, ancient or current.
Sacrificial knife.
Ancient bronze sword.

Just to let people know, there's a lamp, phone, pens and other normal goodies on the desk.

Opening it up is a cashe of weapons. 2 12-gauge shotguns (Two shots per round. Dam=4D6 at 10 yards. 2D6 at 20 yards and 1D6 at 10.) 4 .32 revolver's (3 shots at 1D8 for 15 yards) and one .30-06 bolt action rifle (1/2 shots per round, 2D6+3 firing up to 100 yards).

There is also the map to Memnon and enough money for everyone on the boat.

Jack memorized Saheed's adrees and phone number and took a pen from the table. He took some wire and tied the ends of the wire to the ends of the pen. A makeshift Garrote. He looked at Travis. "Got anything interesting in there?" he asked.

After helping himself to a large breakfast and having been directed towards the museum by one of the embassy's more helpful employees, Tony enters in search of his fellows. Perhaps one of them could help explain to him how he had ended up sleeping in one of the embassy's bathrooms, drooling all over the floor.

As he entered the museum, he felt a slight draft. The breeze was welcomed with a glee only an inhabitor of a temperate climate could ever hope to understand, and yet... where had it come from? It wasn't just the wind, though. The place was quiet. *Far* too quiet. Wanting to find the others - he had been told they were here, after all - Tony started climbing the nearest staircase. It looked fancy enough to lead somewhere important, and the sign that said "Private office" was enough to convince him.

Chances were it led to Spencer's office. Perhaps he knew where the others were?
