While Jack was left scratching his head you remove a dirt encrusted book. This book has definatly seen better days. Flipping through the book you recognise it's writen in mordern day Egyptian.The_Toe_Bighter98 said:

Finding a seat among the towering book cases, he turns the pages in wonderment and interest. 'Hmmmm, seems that this entire book is in Egyptian. Maybe I can decrypt it, after all I know some Egyptian.' Travis thinks to himself, and he flips to the start to attempt this task.

However, with only a beginners understanding Travis had little chance to begin with. Turns out, even that was a bust as he slams the book closed in frustration.

Jack looks at the Book, he has no idea what those letters mean and so waits patiently for Travis to try and decipher it. After a while Travis slams the book onto the table, a look of annoyance on his face. A look of annoyance on his face.
"I'll Hold onto it" Jack says as he takes the book, "maybe the Doctor can tell us what it is-". Suddenly jack heard commotion downstairs. "Come on" he says to Travis while running down the stairs.
He runs into the Main Hall to see a man walking into the Basement from the secluded room, before he can get a look at basement he hears footstep behind him, he turns around and bumps into travis.

Travis began to follow Jack, mostly so that he could get that book back. As Travis descends the stairs, he see's Jack entering one of the secluded rooms. Entering, Travis is surprised to see steps leading down to the basement. 'What is Jack doing, leading me to a basement?' Travis thought to himself, and he shrugged it away and followed anyway. Coming through the basement door, Travis bumps into Jack.

Waking up to a feeling of something cold and hard against the side of his face, Tony quickly discovered that he was lying - fully clothed - in a bathroom, his cheek pressed against the side of a bathtub. He couldn't remember drinking any alcohol the night before, though. He didn't have a hangover either, which pretty much clinched the deal.
Muttering and complaining under his breath, he stood up - deciding to make use of the washbasin and toilet while he was there - and left the bathroom in search of food, his room and the others. Maybe one of them could fill him in on what had happened to him the night before.

Upon waking up and doing a quick search of the hotel Raphael discovered that the group from last night had already dispersed. "Must already be at the museum" he muttered to himself. After grabbing a piece of toast from the dining room he heads over to museum to see if anybody's there. However, upon arriving in the main room he immediately sense that something isn't right. He can hear muffled voices coming from the back room of the otherwise deserted museum, and so he decides to check it out. After heading into the back room he finds a set of stairs on which many of the people he met last night are gathered. He is about to ask them what he missed when his eyes drift past them to the grisly scene at the bottom of the stairs...
Hi everybody. Sorry that I couldn't post for the beginning of the RP, but I'm back near a computer again and should be ready to follow along tomorrow. So I'll see you guys when I wake up. Night, all.

Walking down into the basement, a sudden waft of dead air hits you in the face. Going futher in you see the guard from the night before impaled onto the wall by a bronze sword. His feet dange off the ground. There is also a charred corpse and the mangled corpse of a cat. A boz has been torn open and a crowbar left on the floor.

He looked closely at the body of the man impaled man on the wall. He heard Zen shudder when Jack started going through the mans pockets. "Lock the door" Jack said, "don't let anyone else in untill we sort this mess out."
Jack continued to search the mans suit...

Hold yourt horses. You failed although you can still repress the thoughts to the back of your mind. Make an idea roll. If you fail you repress the thoughts and keep your SAN. If you pass you see the entire thing. It's the only time you don't want to pass.
So far Fire, Zen and Tow are standing in the basement.
