yea..MW2 Unfortunatley. I just started playing and placed consecutivley 3rd and 4th in my first two online free for alls. The top player was a monster hitting the score limit all night long so i didn't stand a chance. Anyway back OT. yea Some kid and by kid i mean ten year old. With a clan sign of [RAPE] just would not stop calling me a N00b or a cheater everytime i killed him. Like he couldn't understand how i was able to score a kill at level 1. At level 3 i had an insane just "in the zone" run at the leader board until about 3 minutes left and i kept re-spawning in bad spots and getting horrid luck. Which then resulted in massive amounts of inflicted trash talking to the point where i even questioned my own sexuality after a while -_-

Single player games don't anger me much these days. The only ones that still get to me are oldschool nes and sega games. Because they are actually difficult. And i know i was much better at them 20 years ago. >.<

I've started to habitually replace any possiblly obscene outburst with "Oy, Vey!" It also helps to remember that I'm still getting experience, even if I lose. Unless of course I'm playing Halo 3, which has possibly the crappies ranking system in the world.

I dont have rage. When I do get THAT mad, I just play a different game. Or read a book. Or clean the house. Or go outside to play.

I basically refuse to play games online because even when I'm not playing, if I am watching someone play, I get back-seat rage. Holy crap... what is the deal with the gorps that put their kids on the mic?! Seriously... I hate hearing little kids having an asthma attack into a mic, asking their dad what they are playing, what is going on, who is that, why did you do that... OR the kid starts singing into the mic. What is with you spawning freaktards that you think it is funny to put your annoying kids on mic? That and I absolutely HATE campers. I can't stress that one enough. It makes sense if you are a sniper, that's just what snipers do. But you buttbags with rocket launchers that camp are the worst kind of people. They are often the ones who get pissed and quit before the end of a match if they get killed ONCE. Once?! You kill a good 25-50 people and want to quit when you die one time?! I sincerely hope there is a special place in hell for people like that. You're jerks, you know you are, and that is the reason why you have to play online, because even people on the internet hate you. People you have never met that play less than five minutes of a game know you are a jerk.

So when a situation like that comes around, I just leave. And yes, place the mic ABOVE your nostrils if you aren't going to mute, and stop breathing out of your mouths! Breathing out of your mouth when you don't have sinus congestion shows your low intelligence that you are too dumb to use your nose like you are supposed to.

I had to give up throwing controllers after the NES years... have to grow out of that phase some time in your life.

I often find myself swearing at the TV when I play pretty much any game - for some reason I just get easily annoyed, but that's just me; I still have fun while playing the game.

One thing that really pisses me off, however, is when you have someone in a game who has their mic on and you can hear them breathing and occasionally mumbling things under their breath - if you aren't going to talk, then just MUTE the damn thing.
I once had a guy doing that on Rainbow Six Vegas 2, except his TV was so loud I could actually hear what he was doing in the game. I could hear all the background noises from the game (the map was set in a casino as well) plus his gun whenever he would shoot.

But when I why his TV was so loud and explained what was happening, he just apologised and turned his TV down, so it was all good.

I do not usually get that intense with games only because I am a perfectionist and I would only end up losing a social life trying to beat it haha. However, what really gets me going are the two types of jerks with mics.

Type one is the type who talks trash in the lobby and tries to get people going so when you tell them to shut it they go after you. However, that is not the part the bothers me, it is when you beat them and they start telling you that you had someone else play, etc. Pisses me off.

Type 2 is the ignorant ones. I know I am not the best player out there but I am not bad. Therefore, when I do talk on mic or vent there are some who sit there and tell me I need to hand the controller back to my boyfriend or go play dolls etc. Those types make playing not even worth it sometimes but it is so damn rewarding when you beat them. Then they turn into type one jerks.

Hate those 12 year olds that think they are better than everyone, and happen to be at the bottom of the team. Luckily I'm on pc where the number of 12 year olds are significantly less as a result of them being unable to figure the pc out.

I just stop playing, and play a different singleplayer game for a while. Usually there is no point in "trying harder" when I am fatigued and just need a break.

But I hate when people get mad at someone else, then take it out on other players...I was sick one day, staying home on a Monday. I had my mic on, I was in a server that I was not a regular in, and I asked if there was an AWP restriction.

My nose was so stuffed and I could barely talk. Everyone in the server started whining "GTFO YOU FUCKING 8 YEAR OLD" and "ARE YOUR BRACES COMPATIBLE WITH THAT MIC?!"

I tried to explain I was sick but everyone was too pissed to believe me...

Gunz. In that community, anything but a the shotguns are considered spraying weapons and are heavily frowned at which is very annoying. Half the time people call me a sprayer, the other half a cheater, and quite a few times a hacker. After not playing it and not dealing with it for a while i played it again and it got very old very quickly as half the fuking players quit because i didn't use a shotgun. Eventually, after getting banned from a room for the 5th time, i cursed everyone out at the main chat and left. Havn't played it for many years now. Though now i kinda feel like playing it now.

I continue playing and just talk it off. Rarely will I leave my party of plug in/ turn on my headset to yell at him. Unless he's being a total n00b.

This one time me and a friend were playing HL (the first one) multiplayer. I killed him a few times in a row on killbox with a crossbow and he threw his mouse (wireless) at my face from his computer. Still stings when I think about it.

Usually I'll just play something else or find something else to do. Come to think of it that's the reason I haven't played TF2 in a while

while playing FF:Disidia, I tend to get a bit pissed off when I can't beat the difficult enemies. I'm very stubborn and usually refuse to give up, which means that I eventually start to growl a bit.. throw curses around, and as my rage builds, i start to roll my eyes and flail my arms about, stomp on the ground. yell loudly that they're f*ckin corksuckers and imitate the characters repetitive sound bytes ("waaaah i'm a little *****. I can't kill this douchebag cuz i'm a little pussy boy!"). If it elevates any further than this, I will get up and stomp around and throw a tantrum.

I know, a bit overboard, lol

When ever a game pisses me off, I curse at it and turn it off. On a few occasions, I ended up punching holes in the wall.

Alot of the time I just get pissed off when I'm stuck. Usually because I've over-looked something.

I'm actually very placcid online, so laid back infact that i usually have to tell people twice when i've gone down on L4D, even when they're in the same room as me. I prefer to wind the people up that have been mentioned in this thread, i.e. The people that try to wind you up. Although breathers get to me slightly, and people playing music, any music sounds pants from the other end of an xbox mic.

The one thing that will wind me up though is the driver AI on GTA. If someone hits you from behind irl, the first thing you do not do is reverse into them some more, and on that note how is it that a taxi can reverse into my rather powerful muscle car while im holding the accelerator and push ME back? And why is it this will only happen when you REALLY need to get somewhere?

At this point i shoot the driver, and the passerby and the other witness, the copper, the old lady.. when you're shooting, why stop? That normally calms me down some.
