I was Calvin growing up. Calvin's "problem" was he had ADHD/ADD. That's all. Clearly you have no experience with such and are speaking from ignorance. Ah well. To each their own.
So I have to have ADHD to know what it is?
That's not how it works.

Whatever the case, your post made no sense.
First off, I put up a "what if" scenario, which didn't include ADHD in any way.
Secondly, ADHD isn't hallucinogenic in any way. I know, because my sister has it.
Funny, because you basically just said you've got ADHD and should know that.
And finally, work on your proverbs.

Let me start by saying I don't usually read or write fanfiction. I was directed to this [http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2048837/1/Reminiscence] story by a friend of mine who knows how much I love Calvin and Hobbes. It's kind of sappy, yeah, but really, I think it's a great "goodbye" piece to the series, and to me, it's probably always going to be what really happened. The picture in the OP reminded me of it.

God I love this strip so much. I remember reading it as a kid, loving it, and only understanding like half of it. I read them again a few years ago, and now I see the true beauty in it. <3 Bill Waterson.

Congrats, you had ADHD but still missed the point. Alright, yours was a "what if".I'll give ya that. But ADHD combined with a great imagination makes anything you imagine real (to you). I can remember my fantasies of adventures with my stuffed panda. The trips to space or into video game worlds. Or ven just playing Mario 3 with him... I was always Luigi but my panda always needed help because he kept getting stuck.

The point is, as a child, belief creates your existence rather than the other way around.

Think of it less as an ending and more as a new beginning.

Mr. Watterson would never go for it, but as far as I'm concerned, it's how everything ended. Just to perfect not to be.

Everyone. Hats goes off you to all for your love for Calivn and Hobbes, for letting everyone remember that views this that the child's heart can last forever, but more importantly, having that heart to pass on to the next generation.

And one final thing...*Takes off my hat* Kudos is awarded to Bill. The person who created Calvin and Hobbes... with the heart..and mind of a child.

Aww, I love Calvin & Hobbes! I have the complete collection. I first read about Calvin & Hobbes when I moved into my current residence. The previous owner left behind a few books.

One thing I am curious though, why does every one of these drawing make Calvin have a Daughter?
Karma. After torturing Susie Derkins for his childhood, of course the gods are going to give him a little girl who will get tortured in her turn by some future version of Calvin (perfect irony if it's Susie's son.)
I always figured Calvin Married Susie

To be honest, the first thing I thought of when I saw the first pick was Toy Story 3, but it certainly does work.

I hate that most of the old comics I liked when I was young are gone, but what can you do, time moves on.

An excellent poster all throughout. Look at the details: Calvin's sad, slow smile and wave, Hobbes forlornly looking into the past, but moving into the future, the bright spark of adventure visible in the younger generation. Calvin and Hobbes was one of my favorite comics of all time, and I'm glad there are people who take its messages of childish wonder and imagination to heart. Even now.

I really liked Calvin and Hobbes. I found out about it when I was in 7th grade, and ended up reading a couple of the books. It is a great comic.
