'well I gave the group the keys, and they distributed them across each other so I don't know, you'll just have to go and check.' William looked at the bartender with an smile." Well this has been a nice chat but I have to go now I still need to start my mission so I better start now." He placed the mug on the counter and said. "Thank you for the beer but I think this will be enough for now. I don't want to get drunk on the job." William stood up from the bar seat and walked towards their rooms hoping to catch a glance of the Rook.

Claire stared at Rias for a moment, moderately confused. "What did she mean 'related to'; is she a noble as well?" Claire thought, trying to pick out and resemblances to the other nobles she had met. After a few seconds, Claire came up blank. DeDannan was a noble house, but they had no heir named Rias to her knowledge. I suppose she could have misspoken... Not really any of my business anyway.

"...right." Claire said, her eyebrow raised, before shrugging her shoulders and moving on. She strapped her blade to her belt with only minor difficulty, then returned to Rias's gaze. "We should probably catch up to William before he gets himself killed." Claire finally said, as she started briskly walking toward the tavern.

The corridor, were the rooms were located, was empty with three doors all on the right hand side.

Rias nodded and followed Claire 'i can't believe she bought that, or maybe she just doesn't have time to question it' she thought as she stuffed her new sword into her belt as well, she could tell already she was going to have to move her bottles around.

William walked toward the middle room this somehow felt as the right one. Well he could think of all kind of excuses to knock on the door here in case this was the wrong door. But William was confident that he chose the right one. He knocked on the door twice and waited for an response.

There was no response, though in the moment of silence waiting for a response William noticed that there was absolutely no noise coming from any of the rooms.

Damn it they must have known I was coming and they fled. William ran back to the exit of the tavern. They can't be that far yet! He ran as fast as he could toward the exit. Ignoring the bewildered looks on the customers faces as he ran through the tavern.

Claire arrived at the tavern just in time for William to exit, now in a great hurry. Expecting that he was being followed by angry assassins, Claire put her hand to her sword-hilt, ready to draw at a moments notice.

"What's going on Commander?"

As William stormed out of the tavern he saw Claire and Rias. "What's going on Commander?" William responded a little out of breath. "That assassin friend of Fromanzio just fled we have to find him before he escapes. He is the only one who knows what kind of danger this town is in." William ran toward the other side of the tavern looking how they left their rooms.

"they cant have gotten far" Rias said as she followed William, "unless they left after that guy told Fromanzio, then would have plenty of time to leg it with the arguing that ended up taking place"

The rooms were tidy, with the appropriate money for renting them left on one of the night stands.

"We don't have much of a choice." Claire said, not seeing any other alternative. "We'll have to split up if we want to find them before it's too late."

Rias frowned at Claire's idea "well that idea kinda sucks ..... but your right, we really don't have many other better options" she said as she turned to start looking around "watch your backs guys, they kinda don't want to be found after all"

William agreed with Claire's idea. "Good luck to you. And one of the guys we are looking for is quite tall and big. I have no idea what the other ones look like, so just look for people out of the ordinary I guess like people with weapons. And if one of us finds one try to warn the others." William ran in a different direction then the other girls they were split up now. He looked around for any people out of the ordinary or any people with weapons who weren't city guards.

William was alone, betraying Fromanzio as well as being his target. It would be so easy just to toss a bomb and watch him explode... No, Fromanzio would watch a while longer, though if they should happen upon Rook, it would be his duty to assist Rook in killing them. If only he had listened, poor Fromanzio.

By the time they finished searching the area the group found nothing.

Rias waited for Claire and William at the towns center adjusting her belt to better accommodate her sword.

William came back after searching his part of the town.. Not even a single trace of the Rook or his 2 companions. He had the feeling he was being watched though he couldn't see who was following or watching him. He walked back to see Rias standing there alone. William sighed seemed like she hadn't had more luck, he walked to her looking a bit disappointed of himself. "So I am guessing you also haven't found the Rook or any of his companions?" He then looked at her sword. "And since when do you carry a sword around?" William seemed interested in the sword.

"not a damn thing" Rias started "some one though they saw something but wasn't sure is the best i had, and that turned out to be nothing" she said, still fiddling with her swords position "since i decided to, to conserve energy, Claire got it for me though" she said, pulling it out and looking at it "which is probably better then swiping one off a dead guy"

Bom sat on a stump, next to the horses. The others have been gone a while now. Wonder if anything happened.

To pass the time, he absent-mindedly watched a pair of birds flutter about in the trees, and listened to the braying of a stag, somewhere within the distant forest. After getting bored listening and watching, he took to flexing his fingers and shoulder. It still felt a little odd after the reconstruction.

Finally, he took to occupying himself with his powers. With a quiver of the wrist, the grass around him rustled with thousands of ants and insects. He watched two reincarnated beetles fight it out, and then congratulated the winner with a quick, sharp stamp. Another shake of the wrist brought the same two beetles back, to repeat the same fight again. Bom sighed. It has been a while now.
