I once spent 20 hours online with my corp when we were with "Red Aliance" fighting in a operation against BOB aliance.There were 200 of us spread out on teamspeaks all over the world but most of them were Russian,man those guys can swear and drink.GOOD TIMES

Phantasy Star Online! I've been playing that game for the better part of a decade. It was the reason behind me buying my Gamecube(when it was available for that system). I even bought a broadband adapter from of Ebay about 2 months ago so I could play it online. I think I've got over 5000 hours of ingame time added up from all versions I own.
So that's where my young adult years went...time well spent I'd say

its so good,my neybours playing it NoN stop.
I will have to join in on Fallout 3, that game is like crack. I've just entered my second week of non-stop playing, and am on my third playthrough, can't remember when I last had a full nights sleep, that wasn't broken up by Fallout, and I'm sure my parents would forget I was even here, if it wasn't because I need a drink every once in a while.
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. It's essentially World of Warcraft, but with the Warhammer background...so it's better.

Oh god Dragon Age I can't get away, I've played around 20-30 hours now and I've only just got the earl revived and on my side. In any other game that one questline would be the whole thing but in Dragon Age its less then a quarter. Well off to persuade those pesky american dwarfs to help me now, right after I forge some scale armour for my spell magnet companion Alistair and oh my...
Yup, Dragon Age. 57 hours played since last wednesday, restarted twice because I wasn't happy with how my character looked. Finished the main quest just an hour ago, with 40% of the content yet to been played. Making myself another character tomorrow, no question about it. An absolutley fantastic game, a compelling story, great characters with remarkably good voice acting. It is indeed the game I've been wanting for all my life.
Not to mention Morrigan had one of the best lines I've ever seen, "I can be friendly if I so desire, alas desiring to be intelligent does not make it so." Also learned a thing or two from Alistair on how to be randomly humorous.
Dragon Age is probably the only game, now that I think about it, that I've sat down and played seriously hardcore and enjoyed every minute of it. It only serves to prove that Bioware earns all the "It's made by Bioware, so it's going to be good" stuff they get.
