I wouldn't since gas would run out quick. Might as well get used to walking, or get a bicycle.

I'd use a Bike With a Water Canteen strapped to it.

Seriously, once the Apocalypse has happened, you think there's gonna be much Gas left if Cars are still Working? People are gonna hoard that stuff.

But if it must be a Car, might as well be one of those 'Fuel Efficient' ones, so that what little Gas I could get would be of as much use as Possible. it would also have some form of Crude Blade attached across the Front.

This car obviously, how could it not be the immediate choice. I do hope people realise where it is from.

Well, assuming I could keep a car working then it would be one powered by a wood gasifier [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_gasifier] so I could fuel my car with fucking trees.

Take that nature!

I'm not sure of the exact year, but sometime in the 90's they stopped making cars that did not rely on electronics to work. That would make sense until usable fuel ran out, then I guess a bike or animal transport would be the only option.

Of course, after a few weeks or months, all the gasoline would gel and be unusable. Everyone would be out of gas before a year was out.
