Lets just for a moment imagine that the community of the Escapist decided to create a game.

A game that you are a Smuggler running around into the dark corners of the city to sell cats to people that want to find happiness and a better place in the eyes of a cute kitty from their sh*tty reality they live EVERY.SINGLE.DAY!!!

Our Happy Smuggler have many kind of different cats to sell for many different kind of costumers as well.
But what kind?

This is the Question I ask if you like just to join and have fun:

What kind of cat the Smuggler will sell to a specific type of Costumer?

This is the first Cat the Smuggler selling:

Monster Trainer's Cat


-Smuggler loose health in random moments
-Easy to carry, the Smuggler is faster.
-Smuggler can't cross water areas.
-50% success to sell this cat to a Trainer.

Obviously we need an Anthropomorphic Moe Cat for the Otaku crowd.

-Docile and easy to transport
-Requires a larger amount of inventory space than your average cat.
-Massive penalties if you are caught with one.
-Guaranteed sale to a male Otaku-type buyer. 50% success to a Female Otaku-type.

They would buy it at a high price.

I would go for a Ghost Cat

- Easy to Find
- Requires really no space in your inventory.
- Hard to get rid off
- Can get very irritating
- Sales to normal buyers highly unlikely, sales to collectors though oh my they love them.

How hard could it be? Just start drawing a cat halfway into drawing a girl. Or just copy on of the millions of catgirls currently flooding the internet.

Unfortunately I can't find the picture right now.

It would be hypoallergenic (can access areas other cats can't due to dander sensors)

great for the indecisive pet owner (can eat other types of food)

Genetically engineered to be the most hilarious and cute cats in existence.
While a common variety and often requested they hold a low profit margin compared to some other more niche cats.

-Can be customized to any emotion
-Low penalty for being caught compared to other cats.

-Tries to escape at every opportunity
-Immediately escapes if you are ever detected while transporting it
-Once the cat is out of the bag, it cannot be recaptured.
-Letting the cat out of the bag increases your visibility / chance to be caught for a set time frame
-Edit: This cat is of particular value to information brokers!

- -100% speed.
- +125% Defense.
- Elemental weakness to moss and acid rain. Resistant to dogs.

+ it can do a rolling attack since its a ball with legs.
+ Its mass allows it to bounce of kinetic attacks.
- No jumping ability
- no running ability

I am genuinely disappointed that this game doesn't exist, it seemed a bit weird but not so much that it might not be legit.

For now, lets just enjoy a Dream that maybe it get a form in the future.
Also I don't any kind of idea what kind of gameplay this game will have.
