My original name was going to be Frieda. Luckily my old folks decided that Kennedy sounded better in the 18-24 demo.

But I would change it to Carrie. Or Catherine.
I'll be honest, i always thought 'Kennedy Sloan' was a rather male name (particularly Kennedy as a forename, probably for its likeness to President Kennedy of which is the only other name i've heard it used, and of course Kenny) but hey; there's nothing wrong with unique names.

On a related note, i'm quite fond of unique names as opposed to the John and Jane Doe's of this world. Though i'm not entirely sure what i would change my name to. I've had a general fondness for the name Vitaly, but that's probably because of the character Vitaly Rogoza in the novel Day Watch. I'm not really fond of my current name Jonathan as it's a three syllable word (Jon-a-than) which irritates me to no end, and i don't always like it to be shortened to Jon, which people do on their own accord, as it feels far too informal. Which, when i'm trying to be serious, can be very offputting when somebody refers to me as such, and i don't like my surname. 'Reeder' is so bland; someone who cuts reeds. Bleh. Too everyman.

...Unfortunately, i've never actually thought of a suitable replacement for my name, though. Perhaps when i think of one i'll edit it in.

Seacrest, out!
I don't know why, but everyone here thinks Kennedy is a boy's name, but I've met plenty of girl Kennedys (potential band name there: The Girl Kennedys). Sloan isn't my middle name; it's Lee. Sloan is my last name.

My name is also a three-syllaber (Kenn-e-dy) and I also hate it. That's why just people call me just Ken, Kenny or Lee.

I wouldn't change my full name, but I might change my middle name to Sronpop, since everyone calls me it anyway.

Max Power. It's the name that you'd love to touch. But you mustn't touch...
His name sounds good in your ear, but you say it, you mustn't fear, 'cos his name, can be said by anyONE.
On topic, Jaymes Pattrick Fogarty. Having the same name as my granddad would make me JPF the second, no? And that sounds regal!

I rather like my name. But if I did change it, I would choose something with no vowels.

Pnsnblsn

or possibly something simple like

Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

(Cookie for the reference)

Declan Brooks after my great grandad who fought in WWI. I'm actually changing it to this next time I'm in the UK because even I can't pronounce my real name properly.

I dislike my name quite a lot, and I doubt anyone in the entire world shares it, but I don't really like it, even so, it almost seems like a shame to change it. However, for the purposes of thread, I will.

Mike Hunt..................................what?
Damn, I was gonna say that but I thought it might be too much.

Minerva Mowse maybe, obviously I'd be known by the shortened version of the first name.

Obviously. To be honest, I'm surprised no one has said it yet. And I must admit, I did have to pause for a second at Minerva Mowse, but I get it now ;-)

I probably wouldn't, out of respect for my family and heritage, but if I should, it would probably be Ragnar, a nice old, norse name.

Thomas Michael Kenneth Maltby. Replace the Michael with... *sigh* ugh... Edgar, and you have my current name. It doesn't fit... at all. And it makes me sound very upper class. Fuck that. At least you can abbreviate Kenneth to Kenny.

But on a serious note, I'd think I'd change it to be more celtic, maybe Úistean McManus.

Hershel Layton. I would probably either be sued by Level 5 or be rewarded money. It's a chance I'll have to take.
